Just as Dawn entered his room, he frowned as a mature woman in her early thirties was standing in his room with a playful look in her eyes.
Her eyes turned toward Dawn after his arrival, she looked at Dawn with a mysterious smile on her face.
Dawn didn't need anyone to tell him who she was, Erika Laplace, his mother, whom the letter had warned him about.
Dawn examined her vigilantly, her black hair like the darkest night fell like a waterfall from the heavens.
Her thin S-shaped eyebrows matched perfectly well with her oval-shaped face, her red eyes had a hint of playfulness in them.
Erika Laplace opened her glossy lips to speak.
"Congratulations Son on your victory," Her voice had a strange attraction to it, it sounded like heavenly music to Dawn ear's.
Dawn's face turned cold, how did she know about it this quickly, was she also aware of his powers?
A sad smile appeared on Erika's face, she appeared heartbroken by Dawn's cold response or lack of response.
Suddenly the playful smile on her face vanished, and she felt an aura that she was familiar with "Tach! This guy again."
"Fine, I will take my leave," she abruptly left his room in a hurry.
Dawn didn't bother replying, or seeing her out of his room, he felt he didn't need to be courteous.
Dawn cleared his mind and jumped on his king-size bed to meditate. He was mentally preparing himself for the tribulation as soon as he left this world the tribulation would descend On him like heavenly lighting.
.
.
While Dawn was meditating in his room, countless light years Away, a Black silhouette of Titanic proportions was floating in the void, his facial features were blurry, not easily distinguishable.
The silhouette was clearly in a bad mood, suddenly an irritated expression on his face causing the space around him to shatter leading to the formation of numerous black holes.
"Fuck you Dawn Asylum, Fuck you too Sage Athena," The black Shadow cursed in a hateful voice before vanishing from his position, the space once again fell into an eerie silence.
This black silhouette was similar to the same black shadow that had already killed Dawn two times without him knowing.
.
.
When Dawn stopped meditating four hours had already passed. The sun had set below the horizon.
It was time to go back and break through to the Channel construction Realm.
With these thoughts, he vanished only to appear back in his room in the Beginner academy.
*
Meanwhile, Erika Laplace, covered in white light, was in mid-air flying at bare-neck speed, the air in front of her parted to give way to her, like a shooting star falling through her heavens she left a trail light of wherever she passed through.
Suddenly her beautiful scrunched up together in a frown, as she felt the aura of her son Dawn disappearing from the world Dradevows.
"Interesting!" A small smile appeared at the corner of her mouth.
*
Dawn's room was still the same as before, neat and tidy, rays of sunlight entered the room from the half-closed window, creating a pleasant atmosphere inside the room.
Before he could catch a breath, Dawn's vision started to blur, the world lost its colour, turning monochrome. Before he knew it he appeared in mid-air on top of a building.
Thud! With a thud, he gently landed on the roof,
Dawn was frowning, he wasn't even given the chance to prepare.
The building seemed to be ten storeys tall, allowing Dawn to look all around him, However, the scene around him caused his eyes to widen in disbelief.
All around him was the sight of destruction, broken houses, collapsed buildings, ones grandiose buildings that humanity was so proud of were reduced to dust.
A thick layer of dust covered everything, from vehicles to trees, giving the city an otherworldly, apocalyptic feel.
The smell of rotten corpses and a thick stench of blood made Dawn assault his senses.
Before he could think further his brain was suddenly flooded with information.
[Trial 1 Kill 1000 monsters
Reward- Mortal Grade Channels
Trial 2 kill 10,000 monsters
Reward- Transcend Grade channels
Trial 3 kill 100,000 monsters
Reward- Immortal Grade channels
Trial 4 kill 1,000,000 Monsters and the Black Abyss
Reward- ???
Failure to complete any one of the trials will result in Death, your body will become fertiliser for this planet to fuel its resistance against invasion.]
Countless words written in ancient letters appeared in his sea of consciousness, although he didn't know this ancient language but the meaning behind them he clearly understood.
He continued to read and finally, he found something that made him sigh in relief.
The trial was an evolvable one, he didn't have to directly choose Trail 3 to get immortal Grade Channels he could start from the bottom and slowly work his way up.
But what the actual fuck! Killing 100,000 monsters for immortal Grade Channels,
And don't even mention about the fourth trial of a million monsters, he was left speechless.
If he killed a monster every single second even then it's gonna take him how long.
Dawn's head started to hurt just by thinking about it.
One more thing he wasn't alone, there were countless other cultivators who were sent to this planet for their tribulation.
The cultivators were like reinforcement that the Heavens had provided this planet to fight back the invasion.
Sigh~ Dawn sighed and jumped from the building to move and gather information.
Boom! Dawn landed on the ground with a boom, his landing caused the ground to crack like glass, sending a little shockwave flying in every direction.
Dawn wasn't afraid of attracting attention, as he wasn't able to sense any sign of movement.
Roar, Roar! Suddenly Dawn heard the bloodthirsty roar of beasts, filled with hunger.
Dawn guilty smiled, maybe he should have been a little careful, from the corner of his eyes he could see monsters running on all four rushing in his direction.
