Cyrus Ripper

As a result of his action, a pack of black mutant Dogs was behind him, their besides were covered in ebony fur, and crimson veins pulsed on their skin line like hellish worms, Their canines, razor-sharp and menacing, resembled the colossal tusks of an elephant.

The Dog's mouths were covered in a shade of red as if they had just feasted on something juicy.

Dawn's legs had started to move on their own, without him knowing he was already running toward the nearest building.

Running as fast as he could, he finally made it to the entrance of a building, however before he could enter, a mutant dog stronger and larger than a tiger lunged at him like an arrow, the beast opened its bloody mouth like a gate of hell to bite Dawn.

Dawn appeared to have frozen in shock, his body reacted on its own with the help of his unique skill Absolute Combat Mode.

Dawn jumped to the side and narrowly avoided the beast Jaws.

Dawn couldn't believe what he had just done, Anger welled up inside him as he berated himself for his thoughtless behavior. How could he have been so careless, so impulsive? He scolded himself for making such a foolish mistake, his self-directed fury burning hotter with each passing second.

A mere dog had made him afraid, or did he just forget how many monsters he had already killed in the last three months?

Now that he thought about it, something felt strange, he should have summoned his monsters before running but he didn't.

Dawn analyzed the situation while dodging, the dog-like monster wasn't as fast as Dawn in reacting, it crashed against the concrete wall head first, causing the withered surface to tremble.

Before Dawn could feel happy about the creature's misfortune, the rest of the pack caught up with him.

"Mana Bullets" Dawn muttered lightly, Mana Bending was utilized to the maximum.

Ten dark black balls of mana appeared around Dawn and in an instant shot toward the ignorant monster, the bullet punctured its ebony fur without any resistance.

"Mana Sword," a four-foot-long sword made of mana, formed in his hand, without stopping he fired Astral serpent Dance to its maximum capacity and disappeared.

The beast could only furiously roar at Dawn's disappearance, it suddenly turned its head up to look, Unknowingly Dawn had appeared on top of it, Dawn did a somersault and in the air and pierced the head of the Dog-like creature with his sword.

Splash! Blood splashed all around him, Dawn hurriedly formed a protective layer of mana around him to avoid the blood stains, his sword made a sizzling sound as he pushed it deeper into the beast skull.

The beast's skin was corroded by the sword's dark mana, smoke started to rise from the wound.

[Ding! Your skill mana bending has leveled up,

Mama bending level 5]

Dawn heard a notification in his head but he ignored it now wasn't the time for it.

As the Dog beneath his feet died, Dawn raised his hand and fired more shots of Mana bullets, towards the remaining mutated dogs.

The dark corrosive bullets drilled into the skull of remaining mutated dogs. The mutated dog's skull exploded, powerless they collapsed on the ground.

Suddenly Dawn rapidly turned his head toward the direction from which Mutant dogs had came, a young man with golden hair and deep blue eyes was walking toward him at a leisurely pace, he was dressed in all black suit from head to toe.

"Excellent work fellow Cultivator," the youth clapped his hand and said in admiration.

"Who are you and for how long have you been here," Dawn wasn't pleased with this stranger's arrival. Making an entrance just after he defeated the monsters.

"Where are my manners, please allow me to introduce myself," the youth chuckled lightly and said in a friendly voice.

He bowed in the direction in Dawns, and placed a hand behind his back before speaking.

"The name is Cyrus Ripper, a cultivator from a faraway place." Cyrus introduced himself in a polite tone.

Dawn just nodded and didn't bother speaking.

Cyrus remained unfazed by Dawn's attitude,

"Fellow Cultivator you must already know how absurd trials are, they can't be completed alone."

"I'm impressed by your performance, I hope you can join my group," Cyrus voiced his intention with a straight face.

A pondering expression appeared on Dawn's face, although the offer was enticing but he didn't like to work with others.

"Thank you for inviting me but I will have to refuse," Dawn said in a casual voice.

Cyrus' expression turned frigid for a moment but instantly a smile appeared on his face.

"You don't have to hurry, you can think about it." Cyrus didn't want to give up on Dawn as he had seen his fighting just a minute ago.

"See you later fellow cultivator," With those words Dawn disappeared.

Looking at the vanishing figure of Dawn a smirk appeared on his face. Suddenly tens of Mutant dogs appeared in front of Cyrus, but he wasn't afraid; on the contrary, a smiling expression appeared on his face.

Cyrus's blue eyes glowed and madness from the Mutant Dogs eyes disappeared, replaced by docileness, they started to wag their tails in front of Cyrus, acting like loyal dogs.

"See you later fellow cultivator," Cyrus muttered in a cold voice. He started to walk in the opposite direction which Dawn had taken with mutant dogs following behind him.

Dawn was aimlessly rushing forward, surrounded by collapsed buildings, with no living being in sight.

Blood-stained road, abandoned vehicles occasional sound of bestial roars filled with bloodthirstyness resounded in the surroundings.

Just like this 6 of hours passed in these, hours passed in these 6 hours he had barely killed any monsters, he had encountered nothing except the abandoned buildings.

If things continued to be like this, who knew how long it would take to complete the trails? And what about the otherworlds?

As if to answer his questions Sugar's voice sounded inside his head," You don't have to worry about it, time flows differently on this planet,"

Dawn ignored her voice and didn't say anything, he still hadn't forgotten about that incident.

Sugar also didn't speak after his lack of response. But Dawn was somewhat relieved by her words at least he had one less thing to worry about.

Sugar and Dawn rarely talked with each other These Days, and Dawn didn't mind that he liked it this way.

Dawn turned his face toward north and started to walk.
