The next day in school, everyone noticed rex was back to normal, when they asked he just said he was sick but now he was getting better. While class was going on, Helen was sneaking glances at rex, when there eyes met she blushed and turned her face away, (why can't I stop thinking of last night) she thought.

After the incident and the deal to keep Rex's secret it was time to head back home as it was late, the moon had come out and their parents would be worried but there was a problem.

What are we gonna do about the bodies she asked.

Oh, while Helen used a healing spell to heal herself Rex stuffed the remaining body parts in the trash. "ok now we can go home" he said relieved that the whole situation was over.

XUhh no we can't, your clothes, it's all bloody, how are you gonna walk the streets looking like that and how will you explain this to your foster mom", "oh that's ok I got that covered but I'm more worried about you, how far away is your house from here".

Helen blushed a little, surprised that with all that just happened he was thinking of her, "I.. it's not that far" she said

" I'll come with you"

"no, I can't come back home with a boy this late, besides have you forgotten your covered in blood?"

"oh this, I can handle this" he said as he removed his clothes showing his muscular body, Helen stared at his abs and her face went bright red.

"Hey why are you stripping all of a sudden" she said with a flushed face

"what my clothes are bloody" he said as he used them to clean himself

"what are you planning on doing anyway, I can get home just fine" she said looking away.

"I can't just let you to go home alone, do you wanna get harassed again?"

she new he had a point but seeing him shirtless made her heart race and she was still a little scared, she just saw him rip people into pieces but to see he wasn't some mindless beast calmed her nerves and now that he was shirtless a new feeling was taking over.

"Still, you can't walk me home shirtless"

"who said anything about walking you home"

"huh?"

"hold on tight ok" he said as he suddenly carried her off her feet's

"hey what are you doing?!" she said surprised by his action. Rex squatted down and leaped up high in the air, the next second they where high up, landing on the rooftops rex broke into a sprint, jumping from building to building. Helen being hit by the wind and sudden jumping held unto rex tightly, she could feel his hard muscular chest and abs again her body, when she looked at his face, his eyes had stopped glowing red and his hair swayed around from the wind because of the speed he was going.

They eventually got to her house and he dropped her off a few feet from her gate but since then she couldn't get the events of last night out of her mind, meanwhile Rex was thinking of something else, something that was bugging him. During lunch break they stayed in class to eat lunches made from home unknown to them that someone was watching them, it was the classes top beauty and most popular girl Rita.

(I can never mistake that smell, but why, why do I smell blood coming from him) she thought as she stared at rex, (there's more to you than I thought) she thought to herself as a smile creeped on her face.

what's wrong Helen said noticing rex was deep in thought.

it's just, I didn't feel anything

huh? what do you mean

I'm talking about last night, this statement made Helen choke on her food.

oh sorry, it's just, the first time it happened I was unconscious but when I remembered it I felt guilty and nauseous, but now, I don't feel anything, I don't feel guilty or nervous or even bad about what I did, this caught Helen's attention.

It feels like when you ordered something new from a restaurant and the taste is much better than your expected, the feeling I got from eating those guys, the satisfaction I got from killing them, it felt too good he said. He suddenly heard Helen's heartbeat skip a beat and he realized he was making her scared again.

I'm sorry, I got carried away he said

y..your...your not turning into some mindless beast are you? she asked a bit scared, no I'm not, well as long as my energy is high then I won't.

I don't know, I guess I figure out what to do in case of the next time?
