Beau was relieved to see that Asher wasn't anxious or in any form of fear.

"There would be no evidence," Beau started, choosing his words wisely. "Even if anyone decided to call your dad and say stuff, there would be no evidence that we are in a relationship."

"You know, I'm beginning to care a lot less about my father and his thoughts on being gay." Asher did not see the proud smile that lit Beau's face. "I'm not saying I want to come out to them or—"

"I understand what you are saying," Beau smiled in reassurance, cutting Asher off mid-sentence. "I don't care if you want to tell the whole world about us or if you want it quiet. I really don't care. As long as it makes you comfortable, I'm happy."

Asher exhaled. "I don't deserve you," he stated matter of fact. "Sometimes, I feel like you can read my mind."
