She's Just Shocked

And the unfamiliar whispers. Voices started whispering in her head and she didn't like those words that flooded her senses.

'Don't do it, your parents are going to hate you.'

'If you deny, you're going to ruin everything.'

'Do you think they'll listen to what you have to say?'

Lucy tried so hard to dispel those words from her thoughts. Her heart was hammering against her chest.

Her mother's expression was slowly changing to a worries one. A huge frown creased her face and her father's frown, even though it was barely noticeable, his expression was unlike seconds ago.

Cedric's face was the one that held the deepest frown. And Lucy focused on him instead. She couldn't afford to stare into her parents' eyes and do this.

She'd rather face Cedric and focus on her anger instead. Anger that he had the guts to look down on and fool her parents.
