Chapter 4: The Second Wish!

Chiaotzu left the desert and headed towards West City to find Bulma. The view of the city was a welcome sight because he's spent the last year in the wild with basically no contact with anyone besides bandits and animals. If he had any money, he would definitely visit a restaurant or something before meeting Bulma, but he didn't so he headed straight toward Capsule Corp.

"Hey, Bulma!" Chiaotzu waved from outside her window.

She jumped up from her seat in fright and held her chest as if it was going to burst out of her chest!

"Chiaotzu! You little creep! You scared the life out of me!" Bulma yelled.

"I'm not a creep!"

"Showing up outside a maiden's window like that is exactly what a creep would do!"

"Nuh un!"

"Yea un!"

"Nuh un!"

She sighed.

"What do you want, Chiaotzu?"

"I need the dragon radar again. Can I borrow it for a little bit?"

"Sure. I'm not using it. Give me a moment to come to the front door, and I'll give it to you." She said.

"Thanks, Bulma! You're the best!" Chiaotzu cheered.

Chiaotzu flew towards the front door and grabbed the dragon radar from Bulma's hand. He waved goodbye and flew off to collect the dragon balls for his second wish! After this one, he'd have only one more wish to make before he's done. Probably. There might be something he hasn't thought of yet to wish for.

It didn't take Chiaotzu that long to collect the dragon balls with his current strength. Any bandits, dangerous creatures, private military powers, and the like were taken care of with his telekinesis. Just a simple lift and throw took care of most problems on his journey to collect the dragon balls. In the cases where he didn't have to fight, he just politely asked for the dragon balls, did some chores or tasks for people, or took it out of some abandoned place like the ocean or an icy mountain.

Most people weren't aware of the true powers of the dragon balls and just valued them because of their shiny appearance and mysterious nature. This was helpful to Chiaotzu because the number of people he would have to snatch dragon balls from would be way too many! Just imagine all the people on Earth in a crazy frenzy to make a wish of their own. It'll be mayhem and chaos, for sure!

Shaking that scary thought out of his head, Chiaotzu gathered all the dragon balls together and began the summoning ritual.

"Shenron, the Eternal Dragon! I summon Thee!!!" Chiaotzu yelled.

The dragon balls brightened into a blinding light. From the balls came a piercing white light that shot through the skies above. The entire area became draped in darkness from the skies. Shenron revealed his mighty visage through the clouds and focused his eyes on Chiaotzu.

"Speak your wish." Shenron's voice echoed through the mountains.

"I wish to have infinite energy!" Chiaotzu shouted in his childish voice.

"Your wish has been granted. Farewell." Shenron went into the dragon balls, and then they shot up into the sky before separating once again.

This wish will let Chiaotzu be able to train for as long as he wants without tiring or fight for as long as he wants without tiring. No matter what kind of situation that happens, he's able to fight at 100% at any time! Even if he's starving, lost all the blood in his body, or blown to pieces, he can still fight in his best condition!

This wish was also a start for the next part of his training. Taking in all the things he's learned this past year, Chiaotzu has realized that he might have raised his telekinesis to the limit, but he has barely trained his body at all! This year was going to be the year of physical training till he could get his third wish. Then after that, it's a combined training season with both his telekinesis and physical strength.

He could just lift weights and continually lift them, but that wouldn't help his martial arts in the slightest. No, he knew the perfect person who could help him. His best friend, whom he hasn't seen in the past year! Tien! After he returns the dragon radar to Bulma, he'll head to Tien's place to train for a while!

It was still daylight out so, Chiaotzu had plenty of time to make it over there. He returned back to West City and gave Bulma her dragon radar before flying over to Tien's place. Tien had his house in between two large mountains and a waterfall near the mountain area. Chiaotzu flew down and opened up the door, letting himself in to see Tien meditating near the television.

"Hey, Tien! I'm back!" Chiaotzu yelled as he flew in front of Tien.

Tien opened up all three of his eyes and smiled as he looked at Chiaotzu.

"Buddy! You're back! It took you an entire year to find the dragon balls?!"

"No! I spent the entire year training after I made my wish!"

"Oh. Why didn't you just train with me?"

"It was the kind of training where I could only do it myself."

"Oh, I see. Wanna spar for a bit, then Chiaotzu? To see just how stronger you got, little buddy?"

"Yeah! Let's do it!"

Chiaotzu and Tien walked out of the house and got a far distance away from the house before entering their combat stances.

"Ready when you are!" Chiaotzu shouted.

"Here I come!" Tien ran towards Chiaotzu.

Chiaotzu flew towards Tien, and the two clashed. Chiaotzu's foot clashed against Tien's fingers. The two broke off the clash, with Chiaotzu flying back further than Tien.

'Tien must not have slackened on his training either this past year!'

Chiaotzu appeared in front of Tien and attacked him with all he had! His small frame moving and weaving all over Tien's body, forcing him to block in all sorts of directions. Since Chiaotzu was small, he had more places to target on Tien's body. But his assault didn't last forever, Tien decided to dodge his attack and kick him away before unleashing his own assault on Chiaotzu. Chiaotzu was sent flying away from Tien's kick, and Tien ran alongside his body and palmed him into the ground.

He stood over him with his palm raised above Chiaotzu's skull.

"I lost this one, Tien..." Chiaotzu coughed.

"What kind of training did you do, Chiaotzu? You don't seem that much better from how you were last year." Tien asked as he helped Chiaotzu up.

Chiaotzu dusted himself off.

"I was training my telekinesis. Now I'm going to spend this year training my body and martial arts."

"Why didn't you use your telekinesis in our spar?"

"I just told you, Tien! I'm training my body and martial arts! Not my telekinesis!" Chiaotzu childishly retorted.

"I want to see how much you have progressed in your psychic training. Show me."

"Fine, Tien, but you asked for it! Hiyah!" Chiaotzu flexed out his fingers at Tien.

Chiaotzu's telekinesis paralyzed Tien's body. He couldn't move a single muscle under Chiaotzu's power. Tien exerted all of his physical power he could and still couldn't break free from Chiaotzu's telekinetic grip.

"AHHHHHH!!!!" Tien shouted as he filled his body with ki to break free from his best friend's hold.

The hold on his body was slightly lessened, and he could move just a little bit, but he still couldn't gain complete freedom of his movements again. He screamed even louder as he used all the ki in his body. Chiaotzu didn't even need to point at Tien to affect him with his telekinesis. He did have to increase the power a little bit to make sure Tien didn't break free, though.

Tien exhausted all of his power, trying to break out, and failed even at his max power. He looked at Chiaotzu and smiled.

"Wow, Chiaotzu you really did train hard! I've been slacking too much on my training if I let you surpass me by this much! I'll have to triple my training now!"

"Hehe, thanks, Tien! Can I train with you?!" Chiaotzu stopped using his power and let Tien go.

"I was hoping you'd say that, Chiaotzu! Let's start now over at the waterfall!"

"Okay!"
