Leon examined the virtual display intently. He understood that getting his ID had triggered a quest. When Leon noticed the quest, he felt a surge of happiness because he had planned to pursue this regardless.

Leon stared at the quests for a minute before looking at his ID. It was exactly how it looked back when Marth displayed it.

"Yes, we finally got our IDs and they look exactly as before." Afterward, they went to check the balance on their cards.

Each was assigned a PC storage where they could store their items and Pokémon. With such technology, this world could easily create a Spatial backpack.

"Haha, it's all here!" Lars checked his balance and couldn't stop laughing. Leon and Leona did the same and all of their money was present.

Leon looked at his 4 billion Pokédollar balance and felt a wave of joy.

They left the Pokémon Alliance building soon after.

Leon had seen some requests on the wall for beginners. This reminded Leon of some fantasy adventurer guild.

They had requests, such as collecting certain berries, while some were to catch a certain Pokémon and have it delivered to the Alliance.

After thinking about it; Leon turned around and went back inside.

"Huh? You want to become a Bounty Hunter?" Leona was stunned.

"Yeah. This doesn't mean hunting people every time. This could also mean objects or Pokémon that people request."

Leon also wanted to do this because of the possible benefits. He wasn't sure what the benefits were, but he heard they were incredible. Of course, you'd need to be highly ranked to receive these' special' benefits.

"These benefits might be good, I should try it out." Lars wouldn't skip out on any benefits if he could earn them.

"This..." Leona was worried this time.

"Don't worry, we'll be careful when we take a quest." Lars patted Leona on the back before following behind.

They soon arrived at the front desk where a young man greeted them. Leon also didn't want to brush Leona's uneasiness off and told her they would be careful.

"Hey, are you guys here to sign up and become Hunters?" The red-headed youth asked with a smile.

"Yes, I'd like to get myself registered to become a hunter." Leon handed over his Alliance ID.

Lars did the same, he handed his ID over to the youth to register them. The process was swift, only requiring a few clicks and scans from the CPU.

"Alright. I will explain a few things to you guys; such as rules."

The youth pointed to a board filled with posters that looked like bounties. However, these were just tasks that the public or businesses requested.

The requests ranged from capturing certain Pokemon, retrieving certain berries, finding certain items, hunting down certain gangs and criminals, etc.

As stated before, these requests had ranks. Lower-ranked individuals could complete a request 1-2 minor grades above theirs.

Leon gazed at the board and saw that the rewards varied. Some were special items, money, property, Alliance Points, etc.

Money was the main reward for completing these requests. Leon and Lars heard the benefits of being a high rank.

-Bronze rankers got 5% off every purchase from the Alliance.

-Silver rankers got 10% off every purchase and money from the Alliance every month.

-Gold rankers got 10% off every purchase and money from the Alliance every month. They also received a 10% discount from every auction house around the world.

-Platinum rankers got 15% off every purchase and money from the Alliance every month. They also received a 15% discount from every auction house around the world. They would also be exempted from paying taxes.

When these benefits were mentioned, they were overjoyed and eager to reach Platinum.

"To rank up, we'd need to complete two Bronze One quests. It's a good thing this board is practically filled with them."

Leon grabbed two requests from the board. These requests were centered around capturing Pokémon.

Someone requested an Electrike, while the other requested a Whismur. Lars also grabbed a couple of requests from the board.

"Okay, so these are the quests you wish to register. Note that these requests can be turned in at different cities and sent to the branch you receive them from."

The young worker at the counter mentioned that there was no need to come back to submit the request. It could be submitted at any location as long as it was recorded in the database.

The requested item would be delivered to the individual who placed the bounty. They had a week to complete these requests before they were rendered invalid.

After accepting the request, Leon, Lars, and Leona left the Alliance. They went to the bank and opened accounts before depositing a large portion.

This naturally shocked the bank teller who was helping set up their accounts.

Of course, Leon helped set up an account for his siblings. These accounts were to help them collect interest from their money.

They all kept 50 million Pokédollars on their cards, which could be placed in their Pokénav once they received it. They also carried cash on them, but they didn't have wallets so Leon held their money for now.

"Let's check the market before heading to Mauville City." Leon rubbed his chin and suggested.

"Alright. I want to see what Slateport has to offer anyway." Lars smiled. He recalled seeing a large market with several stands in it.

The trio headed to the market where they found multiple outlets selling goods. Some were selling common things, such as berries and fruits.

However, no matter what stall they went to there wasn't anything interesting up for sale.

"Hmm, there's nothing here that's really eye-catching." Leon frowned, but this was to be expected from such a market.

"Wait! There's a guy over there selling two Pokémon eggs. There are also a few weird items up for sale." Leona saw a crowd of people gathered around a stall and alerted her brothers.

Leon gazed over and saw a man wearing a green bandana around his head. He stood behind the stall advertising the eggs and items he was selling. Leon could hear the conversation from him to the people.

"Melvin! Are you trying to sell us weak Pokémon again?! Last time you sold us Goldeens and Magikarps, you scam artist!"

"Yeah! Get lost! We don't want you in our market anymore!"

"This bastard! Should we just drag him out and beat him?!"

The crowd was in an uproar. Some even wanted to assault this stall owner by dragging him out for a beating!

"Goodness! Sorry, guys, this fellow is actually a scam artist." Leona sighed before shaking her head, it was a false call.

"Hmm, we should go check it out to be sure. He might be legitimate this time; we can't also believe what people say." Lars seemed interested.

"What are you moron talking about? This time I have the real deal, these Pokémon are next-level rare. You better buy them now before I sell them to someone else, haha! You guys would be a bunch of idiots to miss out on this opportunity."

Melvin scolded the audience. Tell them they were a bunch of fools for missing out on such a chance.

Lars has only an Electrike and Meditite on his team so far, so he was considering taking a chance.

Leon looked from afar and saw the eggs for himself. Analyzing them, Leon discovered the truth.

'This man is running a whole scam!' Leon was speechless, this guy hadn't learned his lesson at all.

"Don't buy anything from this man. Those eggs have low talent and the Pokémon inside are laughable." Leon warned Lars that he'd regret buying such Pokémon.

"What? He's really running a sham over there." Lars's expression darkened.

He really wanted to give this guy the benefit of the doubt. After all, the man's face looked really friendly, so maybe there would be a chance.

"Hmm..." Leon noticed something else, the man seemed to be selling other things.

"Oh, his Pokémon eggs may be a sham, but the items he sells are legit." Leon's eyes brightened, there were surprisingly some really good items up for grabs.

Leon told his siblings to follow him. These items came at just the right time for him.

Leon and his siblings squeezed through the crowd of angry people. In no time, they arrived in front of the stall.

Leon scanned both items he wanted. To be exact, these were the TMs he wanted to buy.

There were exactly two of them sitting on the stall up for sale.

"Hey, I'll buy these items from you, " Leon said, pointing to the TMs on the table.

"Oh, you want both these TMs? They're both a grand each." The green bandana man grinned and said.

Leon smiled and placed the money on the table before grabbing the items. The green bandana man's eyes flashed with greed.

"Hold up! The price is 5,000 for each item." The hurriedly said.

"Okay, forget it then." Leon sneered in his heart. The bastard suddenly upped the prices, the price was clearly written as ₱1,000 a TM.

"Haha, look at this moron. In his greed, he ran a customer away." Everyone laughed. This guy may have a kind face, but his personality was bad.

"Wait! Kid, I changed my mind. I'll sell them to you for a grand each!" The man in the green bandana hurriedly said.

Leon thought about making the guy sell him the item for half the price. However, Leon didn't feel like lowballing the man of his goods. He quickly made the transaction and took both TMs away.

Leona also bought an item, to be exact; a Held Item. The item she bought from the man was a Sharp Beak.

It cost her 800 Pokedallars from the stall. Leon recommended that she buy it for her Swablu to strengthen its flying-type moves. Of course, Leon didn't openly state this in front of everyone.

Leon left the venue and sat on a bench to review these TMs. Leona and Lars wandered the market for more items.

"I have the TM-Mud-slap and the TM-Brick Break. These will be perfect for the Mauville's Gym Leader Wattson." Leon may as well fight Wattson before going to fight Roxanne later.

"I bought a few items, but nothing too pricey or significant." Leona came over carrying a basket of berries.

"I've already gotten what I wanted. We could grab something to eat before traveling to Mauville City, or we could wait until we reach Mauville." Lars questioned. He didn't see anything In these markets he wanted.

However, he did grab himself some skewered meat and vegetables from a stall. Lars brought some over for everyone to snack on.

"Let's head to Mauville City. We need to get those backpacks and I can complete these tasks on the way."

They also needed to reach Littleroot Town as soon as they could. Leon wasn't in a rush, but he was eager to get these objectives done.

"Okay, let's leave after eating these kabobs." The trio sat on the bench and enjoyed their snack.
