'I can't always be at the receiving end of their protection.' Aubrey wanted to be strong so she could protect her friends too.

'Tomorrow I will look for some self defense classes I can take. And maybe I can take some classes with Dr Faust as well to learn more about the history of faeries.' Aubrey finally decided after a long night of mulling on her bed.

On the other side of the suite, Rhyland also lay awake in restless unease. Today they were able to protect Aubrey from the attack but who knows what could happen next time? The people who were targeting them today used silver bullets. They knew of his and Dimitri's identity even though they had not told anyone they would be coming to Dublin. That means they were not from the Council. Likely they were already tailing them from the moment they landed from the plane or stopped by at the afternoon tea place.
