After finally extricating the truth from that man. Rhyland Darling stumbled backward slightly from overuse of his abilities. The secret is out.

Nikolai knows he can use compulsion.

The truth is now known but Rhyland didn't care. He got what he needed. Emery's location. He can finally save the child and Aubrey will finally be at ease. Aubrey had not been able to get a good night's sleep ever since she had learned of her brother's abduction.
