Ace collapsed to the ground, spasming from an ugly surprise as he felt his body absorb the shock waves in an instant, a red-hot poker burning into his chest as Alistair wrenched the arrow out of him calmly. The boy shivered, heaving a breath to kickstart the element of recovery. Raven noticed, then cleared her throat from her position behind Ace. “Bloodstones are invincible. Being penetrated by one inch closer to your heart and brain would mean instant death. The element of recovery won’t keep you alive for a long time; it will only postpone your death.” The boy ignored her, watching the other boy in front of him and Hibis.

“Alistair!” Ace spat, coughing out droplets of blood as he stared at the boy standing in front of him in burning hatred. Alistair looked down at his leader, a smirk dancing on his twisted lips.
