Chapter Forty Three: A Move

The sound of spoons, knives and forks making contact with plates resounded in the room.

The Donovans quietly ate their dinner in the dining hall, which was uncomfortable for Gaia.

She didn't like being silent.

"So brother, what will you be doing while you're here?" she suddenly asked Aiden, thereby breaking the silence.

Aiden looked at her "Nothing much, just hanging out with you guys"

Bayne butted in "By hanging out you mean going to that old tree you used to climb when you were still here, right?"

Aiden chuckled "Is the tree still alive?"

"Of course it is! I mean, why wouldn't it be? Mother tended to it every single day while you were gone on your vacation to the human world!" Luther yelled and Gaia pinched him

Astrid, Aiden's mother chuckled "Oh please! Don't give me all the credit, Faustus did some major work too"
