Chapter 43: The Terror of General Fang

The helicopter lands as everyone watches frozen from the appearance of General Fang. As he steps outside of the helicopter, he begins surveying the chaotic scene before him. His thoughts raced as he assessed the situation.

General Fang thought to himself, "It seems like a lot is going on. From the looks of it, Lt. Snape was defeated by those kids, and the Major General is occupied by the wandering priest. Interesting."

Meanwhile, Major General Brock halted the confrontation with Harrison as he noticed General Fang's arrival. Understanding the gravity of the situation, he spoke up.

Major General Brock admits seemingly looking defeated, "So he came himself. There's nothing else for us to do now."

Harrison, fully aware of the threat General Fang posed, shifted his focus entirely toward him. Sweat trickled down his face as he muttered, "Why is that monster here..."

Major General Brock joined Harrison and began speaking to him, his voice filled with remorse.

Major General Brock acknowledged, "There's no use anymore, priest. It's over..." He clenched his fist, burdened by guilt.

Even as Major Taylor observed the scene from a distance, she realized that it was too late. She spoke up, concern evident in his voice. "Sir..."

Major General Brock then proceeds to bow his head in shame. "I'm sorry. It's my fault all of this happened."

Harrison brushed off the apology, his resolve strengthening as he began to move toward General Fang.

As he leaves he responds to the Major General, "There's no point in apologizing now. Apologize to that boy when we save him."

Major General Brock was taken aback by Harrison's unwavering confidence. "Are you serious? You can't beat him. We both know how dangerous he is. Did you forget he's known as the 'World's Deadliest Soldier'?"

Harrison smiled nervously, clenching his fist as he picked up a random sword nearby. "I know, but I have to try."

After he's done assessing the situation he begins walking towards Christian.

"It seems you boys have made quite the mess here." He says as he approaches Christian and Jimmy.

Christian, taken aback, shouted, "Who the hell are you?" He noticed that General Fang's attire resembled the Colonel's but with slight differences.

In a sudden turn of events, Harrison leaped down, yelling mid-air to Christian.

Harrison urgently shouted, "Christian, take Jimmy and get out of here now!"

Christian was caught off guard. "What?"

General Fang, noticing Harrison's presence, remarked, "You're in the way."

With a swift motion, General Fang retrieved a complex, mechanical-looking gun from his possession and fired it at Harrison. Harrison attempted to block the bullet with the soldier's sword he picked up, however, the weapon shattered, and the bullet pierced through his shoulder, causing him to fall to the ground.

General Fang taunted Harrison, "You should've brought your real weapon, priest."

Stowing away his gun, General Fang shifted his focus to Christian and Jimmy. He addressed them with a smirk, "Now that the distraction is out of the way, shall we get started, kids?"

Christian, fueled by rage and concern for Harrison, charged straight towards General Fang.

General Fang, cool and collected, remarked, "Aren't you a feisty one?" As Christian closed in, about to land a punch, General Fang effortlessly reacted, but Christian, displaying his speed, blitzed behind him, preparing to kick him.

Impressed by Christian's agility, General Fang swiftly grabbed his leg mid-air, hurling him across the military base.

Christian, determined, composes himself midair and stops himself from crashing into the walls, his anger reaching its peak. "Bastard!" Christian tapped into his inner power, causing a surge of energy that affected everything around him, even nature itself.

General Fang, intrigued thinks to himself. "What is this..."

Christian, ready to attack again, gathered his strength, but General Fang, appearing nonchalant, slowly removed his military coat and stretched. Christian grew more enraged, realizing that the General wasn't taking the fight seriously. Seizing the opportunity, Christian built up momentum by bouncing off walls and even the sky, moving at a speed close to that of lightning.

Christian declared with determination, "I'm going to take you out, right here and right now!"

Moving at an incredible speed, nearing the velocity of lightning, Christian approached General Fang from behind. The General reacted swiftly, reaching behind him to counter Christian's assault. However, before General Fang could grab him, Christian vanished before his eyes and reappeared above, landing a powerful dropkick on the General's head. The impact sent shockwaves throughout the base, leaving everyone astonished.

The momentary victory quickly dissipated as the smoke cleared. General Fang caught Christian's leg before the blow could land successfully.

General Fang acknowledged, "Not bad, kid. If that landed, I could've been genuinely hurt."

With a forceful motion, General Fang threw Christian towards the ground, causing it to crack. He followed up by delivering a fierce punch to Christian's gut while he laid on the ground, causing the military base itself to tremble.

The assault continued relentlessly. General Fang unleashing a barrage of punches upon Christian, eventually rendering him unconscious.

Jimmy, witnessing the brutal assault, screamed, "Christian!"

General Fang stood up, wiping the blood off his hands, and declared, "Now it's your turn."

General Fang swiftly defeated Christian and approached Jimmy, ready to capture him. Simultaneously, we transition back to Kirin Village, where Eve, Madeline, and Teddy assess the situation.

Teddy asked worriedly, "What's going on, Eve?"

Eve, unable to gather information from Harrison or Christian, responded with uncertainty. "I'm not sure. I can't reach Mr. Harrison or Christian, but it seems they're in trouble."

Madeline's face paled as she listened. "Dammit, what is going on?"

Eve replied, still unsure, "Like I said, I'm not sure. But before all communication was lost, I heard the name 'General Fang.'"

Madeline's expression shifted, displaying concern and determination. "You two stay here. I have to go."

Teddy desperately pleaded, "Miss Madeline, wait! If you go, the village is doomed..."

Madeline wrestled with her decision, torn between the urgency of the situation and the potential risks to the village.

Meanwhile, at the military base, Jimmy struggled to fend off General Fang. Despite using all of his water-based attacks, Jimmy's efforts proved ineffective as General Fang relentlessly approached.

Jimmy shouted with frustration, "Bastard!"

General Fang finally stood in front of Jimmy. Before Jimmy could react, General Fang kicked him into the walls, followed by stomping him into the ground.

Left unconscious, Jimmy laid defenseless on the ground.

General Fang bent down to pick Jimmy up when, suddenly, a rock hurtled towards his head. With astounding reflexes, General Fang effortlessly caught the projectile.

General Fang remarked, "So you still have a bit more fight left in you, huh, priest?"

Harrison, determined despite his grievous wound, rose from the ground. "Dammit, I can't use my left arm because of my shoulder. I'm not sure what type of gun he used, but he's right about me not having my sword. I don't stand a chance here. What am I going to do?"

General Fang taunted, "Priest, are you just going to stand there, or are you going to help these kids?"

Harrison glared fiercely at General Fang, contemplating his options. Suddenly, a sword landed near Harrison, unbeknownst to General Fang. Harrison noticed the weapon and kicked it up into his hand.

General Fang remarked, sensing Harrison's resolve, "I see you're ready to fight again."

The scene transitioned to Major General Brock and Major Taylor.

Major Taylor questioned Major General Brock's decision, "Why did you help him?"

Major General Brock responded with conviction, "I have to do something. Although regulations prevent me from confronting General Fang directly, I was entrusted with protecting this place. If there's anything I can do to help, I'll try."

Harrison rushed towards General Fang, initiating his first technique, "Full Moon." With a swing of his sword, he traced the outline of a full moon, aiming to strike down General Fang.

General Fang, acknowledging the uniqueness of Harrison's techniques, remarked, "Your techniques are as interesting as ever."

Closing the distance, Harrison engaged General Fang with his sword. General Fang countered by using his hand in a motion opposing Harrison's sword, resulting in both of them swiftly passing each other.

General Fang declared, "Your technique is absolutely flawless. Even I couldn't perfectly replicate that move. However, with that sword, you can't fully unleash your abilities. Therefore, I win."

Harrison's sword shattered, and blood began to flow from his wounds as he collapsed to the ground.

General Fang wiped the blood off his gloves and prepared to complete his mission.

Walking over to Jimmy, General Fang picked him up, then approached Christian and lifted him as well. Proceeding toward his aircraft, General Fang stepped closer and closer, instilling a sense of defeat and loss in the air. It seemed that no one could stop him, and there was nothing anyone could do.

However, Madeline had reached her limit. Determined to protect those she held dear, she decided to confront General Fang head-on, even if it meant going to war. "I'm sorry..."

Madeline summoned her spear of lightning, which began charging with immense power. General Fang noticed it in his peripheral vision but dismissed it, continuing towards his helicopter.

As General Fang stood in front of the helicopter, he tossed both kids inside, ordering the person inside, "Tie them up."

A voice suddenly resounded, catching General Fang's attention. He turned his gaze towards the source, spotting a person falling from the sky and landing amidst the battlefield, causing a massive explosion that even shook the helicopter.

With a fierce expression, General Fang exclaimed, "What the hell? Who is that?"

Through the dissipating dust, the mysterious figure strode towards Madeline's spear and effortlessly grabbed it, halting the lightning's flow. Madeline, noticing this, couldn't help but smirk.

The mysterious figure addressed General Fang, exuding authority. "You have a lot of nerve, Fang."

General Fang recognized the voice and said, "I see... It's you."

With determination in her voice, the person warned, "I'm going to make you regret pissing me off!"

General Fang's face contorted with a mix of surprise and anticipation. "It's been a while, General Rebecca Han."
