Sage walked back in her house after seeing Khalil out, her mom was still not back and she never told Sage where she went to. Sage has tried to call her but her phone was always switched off.
She walked around the house, today was the day she was going to explore the house. She locked the living room door and walked towards her mom's room, Sally has always seemed off, was she hiding something?
The door was locked; it's as if she knew that someone was going to break in. Sage imagined her mom's always sincere face and cleared her mind and also proved to herself that her mom wouldn't be hiding something from her, they told each other everything.
She took some pins off her hair and tried picking the lock after some minutes the lock clicked meaning that the door was free to open.
The room seemed like a normal, King size bed, purple bed sheet, Curtains and a small carpet. She looked around to see if there'd be a clue somewhere but nothing.
A brown box laid down besides the large lamp, it looked like a mysterious box that hid massive secrets in movies. As she was just an inch closer to the box, the door clicked meaning someone joined her in the house. She walked out quickly locked the door and entered her room which was just opposite Sally's.
Sally walked in the quiet house carrying paper bags full of goodies inside. She sensed something was amiss and went direct to her room.
It seemed that she had not entered the room she signed relief. She walked around the room and found that nothing was touched. Everything must stay has it has ever been and no one will get hurt.
The door to Sage's room quietly opened, Sally pipped in and saw Sage sleep, "Sage honey wake up I brought you a surprise." Sage opened her eyes and pretended to rub her eyes.
"When did you come in?" After seeing her sleepy figure walking towards her, that's when her beating heart relaxed.
"What are we eating for lunch?" the duo walked hand in hand to the kitchen.
......….
"Cancel every other appointment that I have and cancel all my blind dates." Luke rubbed his aging head. Since Sally left, his life has never been the same. He had to admit that he was a coward and spoke for himself in front of his mother.
Samantha Planned for children's life on how to live, who to and not marry and it made them sick. Sometimes they had to comply to stop her from meddling too much with their lives.
But as for Luke he was her puppet and his siblings knew, he was the only one who Samantha cold control like a video game.
"Sorry sir but your mother said you must go," The assistant trembled; she had had enough of this family. Her life was in line here, Samantha had made sure to threaten her if her boss never went to the arranged blind dates.
"Who is your boss, her or me?" He barked standing up as if he was about to slap her but walked passed her making her legs weak. This job was going to be the death of her.
At the blind date a dazzling woman sat elegantly her clear face showing dissatisfaction. She held out her phone and called a particular number,
"It seems that your son is as disappointing as you," Her tight voice made the woman on the other side nervous,
"No that's not it," She tried to come up with something. "Don't worry I'll talk to him."
"I want you to know that you can kiss our deal bye." And after those chilling words she hanged up. She preparing to leave but her phone went off and the message read,
"I've found her" next was a picture. The woman trembled almost falling off her chair; her assistant held her in place and felt sorry for the miss. She had gone through too much.
"Quick find ways to slowly bring her to me," as she looked at the picture her cold eyes softened.
