A week passed and still Khalil's video was trending, everyone that was associated with him was an outcast but Sage never cared about the stares. They knew nothing and she knew it all.
Agatha also stopped walking with them and joined Maeve and Simon's group, such an asshole. And all that she gave as an excuse,
"Sorry guys, I've just applied for school president and I'm afraid that this entire friendship thing will make me loose,"
Alan still stuck around and helped were he could.
Maeve walked in the library with Agatha beside her. She felt like she had won a million dollar to have Maeve's attention.
"If I may ask, why did you stop taking to Sage?" Maeve expression changed after hearing that name.
"She crossed borders that she shouldn't have." She said it quick not to relay on the topic.
"What did she do?" Agatha never read the atmosphere and kept asking making Maeve stop.
"Can you do me a favour," She held Agatha's chin tightly making the girl yelp in pain. "Stop asking stupid questions, know your place bitch."
Despite the pain that she felt, Agatha nodded her head to comply; she was so obsessed with Maeve to the point of endearing anything.
Simon saw Maeve and waved her hand and the two went her direction,
"We were supposed to hangout alone; you never told me that she would come along," How could Maeve take her for a fool; this was supposed to be there time. Maeve ignored her and continued walking.
Simon's friend Joly was also mad because since Maeve came around she was always ignored and treated wrongly,
"Simon what's your plan with her," She forcefully closed Simon's book to gain her attention.
"What the fuck Joly, since when did I explain myself to you?" Simon always treated her friends like trash but they always stacked around. But Joly was different, she was the only one who knew everything about Simon and understood her.
"Why do you ask?" Simon could only sigh, she liked Joly soo much to yell at her.
"I mean you never liked her, you obviously have a motive." She picked her fingers, and looked down.
"I'm sorry okay, I never meant to yell at you," She took Joly's hands , " Yes I have, I have to use her to get close to Collins,"
Everyone knew that she loved Collins, but no one knew that the boy hated her. She always bragged on how he took her to dates, expensive places. But that never happened she would use green screen and pay someone to photo shop their pictures together.
"It's just that… you've been ignoring me lately and that shit hurts," She pouted like a spoiled five years old. "The girls in class are making fun of me saying that you'll soon replace me."
"Don't listen to their nonsense, they are only jealous because they are not friends with me but you are,"
They looked like five years old couple making up; no one knew this side of Simon.
"Hey Si?" Maeve sat followed by Agatha. Simon hated Agatha to bone, not because she was friends with Sage but she always felt bad vibe around her.
"Why did you bring this shit head with you," She said it loud enough for Agatha to here. Agatha of cause was offended but could only keep quiet and smile like she heard nothing. She was going to deal with her later.
"Oh her, she wouldn't stop following me so I had her come around with me," Maeve explained lazily not even looking at Agatha.
"Is that so?" Simon looked at Agatha pointing at the book shelves, "Be useful and get us history books,"
Agatha looked at them in disbelieve, she wasn't there maid. She only came here to be friends. She looked to the left side to look at Maeve,
"Chap girl, what are you waiting for?" It was Maeve who clapped her hands.
"I'm your friend not your maid," She declared, but it only fell into deaf ears. Simon eyed her friends and they knew what to do.
The next minute Agatha dropped on the floor followed by her drink and books. This was so humiliating but she could do nothing,
"This was the price of not sticking to your league," Joly laughed. Everyone at the library laughed, pointed fingers and recorded.
"Oh my dear, you are going viral," Maeve laughed showing her phone to Agatha.
'You'll all pay for this,' this rang in her mind.
