CHAPTER 50

Family at times would build us and at the same time destroy us that happened to Alan. He had no one who he would turn to or calls family.

He's dad abused and left home while they were still kids, his mom gave up and committed suicide.

He's parent were too selfish and thought about themselves. Being young he couldn't take care of his two sisters and the child services took them away to date.

Having no idea how they looked, or if they were even alive or dead. That was for fate to decide.

"What's on your mind?" Mark ruffed his hair. He was the only father figure he knew.

"Nothing much, I really miss my sisters," Mark knew how it felt to be separated from a family member. Losing Catherine at first felt normal, but the things they did together slowly came back flowing in his mind and he knew very well he messed up.

But you did in the past cannot be undone, live with it or forget. It was too late to regret or apologize.

A bucket of water was poured on Sage and she was out of her nightmare.

In front of her sat a tough woman who was full of tattoos from the face to the legs. By looking at the expression on her face it meant she was ready for war.

Greg sat on his bed looking at a picture of a young girl he lost long ago. Her beautiful small face carried an innocent smile that would harm no one till she was snatched from him.

 Back then…

In a stable, a young girl stood next to her horse patting it. It was a beautiful show to not only viewers but her parents.

"We need to leave now Clarisse," Her mom hugged her from behind trying to separate the two.

"You can always come back to play with him, mmmh."

"But I can't take it; I'll miss him so bad." Tears slowly went down. Clarisse was not only beautiful but friendly. But she never fitted anywhere and would get bullied because of her looks.

Some girls would accuse her of doing plastic surgery or tell her that she wore make at school just to brag about her good looks.

At appoint one day at the washrooms, girls held her head inside water full of soap to try and wash out her make to which was a natural look.

She carried along a long straight black hair that she liked holding it back in a ponytail. Her deer like eyes that were always happy and two different orbs. One pupil was hazel and the other black, and that made her always unique.

The hazel eyes were inherited from her mom who also had dark hair same as her dad and Gregory the older brother.

Laughter fairness always kept love among each member of the family and that's how the walker family lived.

Having food and the other basic needs made a family whole. The walker family had three ranches that kept the family in one piece. Never considered rich in there small town at least they had something to brag about.

Till one night when all the laughter came to a halt and the walker mansion was as quiet as a graveyard. The boss to the servants slept in a pool of blood and the only soul that was breathing was Clarisse's.

"Take her; we don't want any evidence behind"
