CHAPTER 52

Luke walked in with a box containing medicine and a glass of water handing them to her mom. He sat to the sofa near the huge window and looked out confused.

He heard rumours that Sally not only changed her name but was part of a gang, not just any gang the song gang that belonged to the west. He loved and believed everything that she had Sayed.

"Still thinking of that good for nothing woman," the remaining drops of water washed of the remaining though that danced in his naïve mind.

"She destroyed every brain cells I your head and control you and you pretending to be naïve you were fooled, now look how pathetic you look," Samantha spat not sparing him any dignity. He made his bed it was time to sleep in it.

Having no energy to fight he left after all she had said was the bitter truth. Walking to the kitchen, he took a glass and poured he bitter wine and dived in, it was long since he drunk.

After Ben was done showering, walked in the kitchen to prepare something when he found his dad sleeping halfway on the kitchen counter.

Waking him after some minutes, the man never bulged had to take him to bed. All the way to his room he kept whispering 'why did you lie to me' with tears washing his face.

Ben seeing this side of his dad couldn't help but hate Sally more. They all respected her but it turned out that they were fooling themselves what a pity.

After putting his dad to sleep, he walked out to get fresh air and he saw in front of him shocked him to the core,

A body not just anybody but Sally's body was left to their door step. She ricked of blood, dirt and drugs next to her was a note,

'THE LANDONDS LONG TIME, GUESS WHO'S NEXT??????'

With shaky hands Ben ran to his grandmothers room and threw the letter to her and worse that ben she almost spat blood, not only did she understand what was written but who wrote it,

"Quickly take me back to my house," She shook while yelling at ben,

"NO we are not going anywhere, it dangerous." He went quiet after receiving a good warm slap. The room went silent for some time and ben without looking back went out.

"You leach comeback here," She was so scared and didn't want to be left alone; she understood how trebled the person can be. They had a deal before but then she betrayed and got ahead of herself.

"Stupid old hag, I've had enough and it's time you learn a lesson," ben yelled and locked the woman inside.

Getting his car ready he took his dad and drove back to their home.

Samantha wasn't that old but because of the stress lately the winks that kept themselves at bay ran out for freedom.

Her son and his daughter accompanied her for the few weeks to make sure that she were safe but that didn't stop her from being paranoid. She would yell, throw things at them.

"Dad for how long are we going to stay here taking care of your crazy mother?" Simon barked. After she found something that could destroy him she took advantage and he treated her fairly.

"Don't taste my patience young girl; it seems that I've given you too much freedom." He walked out to his car.

Yes she had something against him but he was still cunning and she had seen what he was capable of doing or what he had done already.

Walking around the house, she decided to go around the ancestral home. All the members of the Landon lived and were buried in this very own home.
