Exposed

Amidst that commotion, a loud voice came through, cutting through the tension like a knife. "What's with all this commotion? Don't you all have anything better to do?" George asked furiously, his face red with anger. The crowd quieted down, turning to face him, guilty expressions on their faces. However, one person stood defiantly in the center, a smirk on her lips.

"Forgive us, sir, but this woman here claims to be Ms. Jones, the CEO's wife," one of the crowd said with an amused look, even though they already knew that Kallen was lying. However, the audacity of her claim had gotten under their skin, and they couldn't simply let her walk away. George glanced at Kallen, his eyes narrowing as he asked her indifferently, "And who are you exactly?"

Kallen tilted her head back and looked down her nose at George, her tone dripping with arrogance. "I'm Ms. Jones," she replied smugly, "and I need to meet your boss. You'll regret it if you stand in my way."
