In the car, as they drove away, George couldn't help but voice his concerns. "Sir, why do I get the feeling that this Kallen is bad news?" he asked, his brows creased with worry.
Aiden's expression remained indifferent as he stared at the road ahead. "Just focus on driving, George," he replied coolly. "She's just one of Mr. Cormen's pawns, trying to win me over after my wife's disappearance. Let's not get distracted by her tricks."
George's amusement was evident as he continued the conversation. "It's quite daring of her, though. To pursue you so quickly after your wife went missing. Almost like she had something to do with it," he mused.
Aiden glanced at him briefly, a flicker of concern crossing his face.
"Well, that might be possible, considering her characters; however, Don't jump to conclusions, George. We don't have any evidence yet. Let's not accuse anyone without proper investigation," he cautioned.
