Sindy Vampire Hunter Point of view

It is late evening and as usual I am in my room doing my usual routine of listening to voice recordings from the listening bugs I have placed all over the palace . I have always had a feeling that the royal family has something to hide . There is something about this vampire story that does not add up hence I took it upon myself to place listening devices in rooms where the Prince and King are likely to have a meeting in private .

“ There is no better way to say this, I am a vampire and I can not just stand there and watch you destroy a young lady’s life like that . She deserves better .”

I hear Prince George while listening to today’s recordings and I am shook to the core .

I knew the royal family had something to hide but I did not expect them to hide something so huge . Why would they call me here to hunt a vampire when the vampire is within their family ? How did they miss this ?

I get even more shocked while listening to the King’s response because I thought decades ago their mission failed . How is this even possible because I witnessed them kill both of them claiming it is what is best for the kingdom.

Years ago when I came to this palace I was assigned as a maid to the princess who later became the queen of this kingdom . Even though she was a queen she treated me like a sister more than a royal servant . I witnessed how her love for the King by then destroyed her life and I vowed to take revenge on her behalf . The late Queen had listened to the late King’s wish of leading the kingdom forever and the only option that was available to achieve that goal was to transition into a vampire . The king suggested that they find a vampire who will ensure that they become vampires . The late king believed that if they became vampires before starting a family their heir will also become a vampire and my late Queen agreed despite my many attempts to stop her . She believed in her husband’s dream of a long legacy that lasts forever . Her transition to becoming a vampire was not a good one as it took a toll on her health and when she became pregnant it became worse for her as the full term pregnancy and delivering the baby would endanger her life . While she was suffering her husband could not care less because all she wanted was an heir no matter the cost .

I saw her body and health deteriorate every single day and what frustrated me the most was that I was powerless in the situation . I silently watched as she suffered throughout the pregnancy while her husband was running around with different woman . He did not care about a woman carrying his heir . I was the only one who was by her side until the day she took her last breath and her husband moved on with his life like nothing happened . He hosted elite private parties where he lured young women to drink their blood . He had a storage full of class jars full of human blood that was kept warm at all times . No one dared to say anything to him or even tried to expose him .

Every day that I saw him living his best life built so much rage in me and my hatred towards him became my courage. I mastered the courage to tell the late king’s brother who is now the acting King the truth and he did what he thought was best for the kingdom in his eyes.

He hired the most experienced vampire hunter and he killed his brother along with his vampire son . However , he thought I would be a threat to the royal family's reputation. He feared I would expose his brother hence he charged me for treason , a crime I never committed. Because of him the community shamed me and brutally attacked me thinking that they were protecting their Kingdom little did they know that I am just as innocent as they are.

This Kingdom has destroyed the life of the only person who considered and treated me like his sister, the only person who treated me with love and compassion . She was the sister I never had.

When I left this Kingdom I vowed revenge and I will not let them make the next Princess a sacrifice . I have to stop this wedding between Prince George and the Princess. Most important I have to protect the both of them at any cost even if it means I have to be the villain in their love story.
