19 Tragedy 16

Then, Mr. Levi, who could not predict his movement of late, asked.

“Young Master, where are we going?”

“The Church.”

He replied hastily as he concentrated on his phone. Meanwhile, it was only, Ken who was aware that he wanted to boycott lectures because his brother and friend was bedridden. Otherwise, Mr. Kelvin Levi would have declined taking him away from the school to the church.

“All right, Young Master.”

Soon, they were at the church. He got off the car at once and said.

“Thank you. I will be long at the clinic.”

“We are waiting.”

Then, he headed towards the Surgical Center and when he got to Dr. William's office, he requested to see the patients.

Dr. Williams took him to Mr. Morris's ward, and he was encouraged when he saw him lying peacefully. He smiled inwardly and Afterward, he took him to Jeff's ward and met the young doctor sitting beside his bed. She welcomed them with a beautiful smile and the doctor inquired.

“Are you still here, Jennifer?”

“Yes, Dr. Williams.”

From the doctor's question, Leon understood that the doctor had been there for long. He was aware that Jeff did not love women close to him, an attribute he did not know that it was for a purpose and that it had changed since his grandfather got married. The first question that he would have asked the doctor was;

“Is this your office?”

To avoid creating a scene in the hospital, he swallowed his question. Then, he gave her a perfunctory greeting and focused on Jeff, just like Mr. Morris, he was sleeping peacefully too. Later, they left the ward and Dr. Williams returned to his office while Leon sat at the reception. His initial plan was to spend the day with Jeff in the ward, but the doctor had disorganized that because it was as though she had made Jeff's ward her office. All the same, that would not stop him from checking on him from time to time.

While he was sitting at the reception, he kept himself busy with the last lecture he had until he heard his name.

“Leon.”

He looked up, saw his grandmother and Mrs. Israel walking towards him. He greeted and walked to the doctor's office with them and Afterward to the wards. When he observed that the doctor, who was reading her book in Jeff's ward, was still there, he concluded that she was not planning to leave any time soon.

The end of Leon's Perspective.

When they got off the wards, they walked back to the doctor's office and took their seats. The previous day, Ken had advised that they should include the other patients in their treat and fish out patients who could not afford to settle their bills. Now, Dora inquired.

“Dr. Williams, do you have an idea of any patient who is having difficulties with his hospital bills?”

Dr. Williams, who knew where she was going and answered.

“Every hospital have such patients. Meanwhile, I will find out with the Medical Director of the Surgical Center, he will be in the right position to know that.”

“Thank you, Dr. Williams.”

Then, he gave the Medical Director a call at once, and he picked.

“Hello, Dr. Williams. How may I help you?”

“Hello, Dr. Milestone. If you are not too busy, can you spare a few minutes of your time? I would love to see you in my office.”

“It is all right. I will be with you shortly.”

“Okay. I am waiting.”

After a few minutes, Dr. Milestone, an average height man who was in his early thirties, walked in. When he saw the two women and their son in the doctor's office, he concluded that they were patients.

“Kindly take your seat, Dr. Milestone.”

Dr. Williams offered when he walked in. He looked at the visitors and greeted cheerfully before he took his seat. Then the doctor inquired.

“Dr. Milestone, I would love to know if there is any patient in your hospital who is having difficulties with his bills.”

Now, the bewildered Dr. Milestone was baffled with Dr. Williams’ request. The Surgical Center was donated by a lady who they did not know, but the patients felt that it was a charitable organization that was funded by the church. So, they expected a lot from the center. With Dr. William's question, he felt that there was hope for such patients, especially the patients who were members of the church.

“Thank you doctor. You are already aware of the answer. If you can take a stroll with me, you would see things for yourself.”

Now, Dr. Williams looked at the two women, who may not wish to stroll for their opinions. Then, Madam Jessica advised.

“Leon, you can stroll with them. Dora, let's attend to the lunch.”

“All right, grandma.”

Leon responded as he stood up with enthusiasm. The task would enable him to walk around and see more of the Surgical Center. He left with the two doctors, while Dora and Madam Jessica walked back to the reception, where one of their security men was waiting.

“Ask Mr. Robert and Adline to get ready.”

“All right, Mrs. Israel.”

The security man responded while they waited at the reception. Meanwhile, Mr. Robert and Adline were set. Just like the previous day, the janitors at the surgical center had assisted them by moving the packs of food out of the car. Then, they started taking the packs to the wards of the patients and the offices of the doctors, nurses, and the other staff members. Afterward, Dr. Williams returned with Leon, whose mood had dropped drastically.

“Leon, you look moody. What is the issue?”

Madam Jessica inquired with concern. Then, Leon gave a dry smile and assured.

“I'm fine, grandma. There is no issue.”

At the Headquarters Complex.

Mr. Israel with his team of Soldiers, security guards and assistants got to the office that morning as usual and got off the vehicle when the driver stopped at the vestibule.
