22 Random Act of Kindness 2

“You don't need to worry about that, Dr. Milestone. We will be on our way.”

Ken advised. Then, the doctor got up too and responded.

“Thank you, Mr. Israel, for stopping by.”

“It is my pleasure, doctor. You will hear from us concerning Prof. Green.”

“That would make my day, Mr. Israel. Have a pleasant day.”

“Thank you. Have a productive day, too.”

“Goodbye, Dr. Milestone.”

Leon greeted.

“All right, young man. Everything will be okay.”

Likewise, Mr. Ken Israel held Leon's hand while they walked back to join his wife and mother at the reception. Then, they pointed out, “You look moody, Leon. What is the matter?”

He tried to cheer up and took his seat beside his grandmother. Now, Mr. Ken Israel took his seat beside his wife and asked, “Are you through with the lunch?”

“Yes, hubby.”

“That is good. Can we leave?” He inquired and looked at his wife and mother intermittently. Then, his mother responded.

“We can, but we are yet to get the list of the patients who need assistance with their bills from Dr. Williams.”

To Mr. Ken Israel, that was not an issue anymore. He could always get that from the doctor through a phone call. Prof. George Green's qualms gave him a concern for two reasons. He may not be certain that he was the person Mr. Morris was looking for, but he was certain that he was Leon's lecturer.

“That won't be a challenge. I can get the list through the phone," He elucidated as he stood up and held his wife's hand, and she stood up too.

“If you say so, son,” Madam Jessica accepted and stood up too.

“Yes, mother. Leon's parents would be around any moment from now,” Ken informed.

They looked at Leon and he beamed with pleasure. Then they walked to the car park and suddenly, a janitor walked up to them and greeted, “Goodbye, madams.”

Mrs. Dora Israel and Madam Jessica turned simultaneously to the direction of the voice and appreciated.

“Thank you so much for your assistance.”

Then, Dora toed Madam Jessica Murray's line and said.

“Goodbye dear.”

“Thank you, madam. If I may ask, would you be here tomorrow?”

Now, Mr. Ken Israel and Leon, who halted to hear what the janitor had to say, walked on.

“We are yet to decide. By the way, why do you ask?”

The janitor, whose brother was ill and was on admission at the surgical center, gave a bashful smile as she answered the question.

“I would like to suggest that you come with the same comestibles. I mean, just like today's.”

Now, the astonished women, who hoped to hear something of importance, looked at each other. Then, Madam Jessica asked cheerfully while Dora looked on with satisfaction, “What about today's food?”

Nevertheless, the shy janitor could not complete what she started. She only smiled and looked at them like a startled cat. Then, Dora saved her beacon by asking.

“Do you wish to have more?”

“Yes, madams.”

Now, Mr. Robert and Adline were set to leave, and the security guard walked closer to dismiss the janitor, who he suspected was disturbing them. Howbeit, she fled when she spotted him.

“We are set to leave, madam," the security guard announced. They walked on briskly. At that moment, Mr. Israel had gotten to his car with Leon. Mr. Kelvin Levi and Leon's aid were elated when they saw them walking together as though the bashing in the morning never took place.

“Be calm. We will see to it that your beloved lecturer gets on his feet again. Did you get me?” He encouraged.

“I got you, Mr. Israel.”

“Get into the car. Let us not keep your parents waiting.”

“Okay.”

Now, there had to be some adjustments in their movements. The family visited the hospital separately, but they must return together.

“Join the Security Vehicle.”

Mr. Israel ordered his driver.

“It is noted, boss.”

He replied as he got off the vehicle. Meanwhile, Ahmed and his team, who were monitoring his boss' movement, got ready to move too. His wife and mother walked up to them and got into the vehicle.

“It's like the janitor wished to have more of your Jollof rice?” He teased as he looked at his wife, who was smiling happily on the passenger's seat.

“You got it, hubby.”

“I thought as much.”

Soon, they, were at the Manor.

“I can see you are exhausted, but we are expecting some guests. Kindly ensure that they would have something to eat,” Dora instructed Mr. Robert and Adline when she got off the vehicle.

“Consider it done, Mrs. Israel.”

“That is good.”

Now, Mr. Israel gave Ralf and Ahmed instructions concerning the visit of the Canadian Ambassador to the Manor.

“Ralf.”

“Yes, boss.”

“Ahmed.”

“Yes, boss.”

“Ambassador Grayson and his wife would be here any moment from now. Kindly ensure that he is not embarrassed.”

“It is noted, boss.”

Now, the family walked into the house while Mr. Ahmed Nura looked up to Ralf to learn more about the security system at the Manor. Then, he passed a message through his bidirectional radio transceiver to the heads of the security team in charge of security around the Manor. When they picked, he spoke, “We are expecting a guest in the Manor. Over.”

“It is noted, boss. Is it a man or a woman? Over.”

Incidentally, since Ralf did not have such details, he passed the message across to Mr. Nura through his look, and he acknowledged it with a nod. Then the other Team Heads asked the questions that were of concerns to them.

“What kind of vehicle? Over.”

“What color of vehicle? Over.”

“What is the Registration Number of the vehicle? Over.”

“How many vehicles are in his entourage?”

When Ralf felt that the questions were enough to give them the details that they need, he ended the discussion.

“I will revert. Over.”

Then, he gave Ahmed a seeking look, and he simply said, “I will find out from the boss.”

At once, he gave the International Vice Chairman a call.
