You Are Unaffected

All the Skrulls couldn't help but watch their High Priest channeling an immense amount of lightning power. At that moment, their High Priest was their god, a being they revered and looked up to.

It was known that only their High Priest could perfectly wield such formidable power, the best genetic specimen as deemed by their Skrull deity. They had witnessed their High Priest single-handedly destroy a fleet without exerting his full strength. Now, he was operating at his peak.

"How powerful is our High Priest?"

"He's nearly as powerful as our god!"

"If only I could have such immense power..."

"..."

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The air resonated with the immense power, echoing with booming sounds.

Crack!

Wang Yan wielded the Sword of the Vishanti, slashing towards the approaching Skrull High Priest. The High Priest, now fused with lightning, believed himself invulnerable to any weapon or physical attack. The sword cut through the High Priest's body, but as soon as it tore through him, his form recombined, and he continued advancing towards Wang Yan.

"Die, and you will understand the difference between us. A mere human dares to invade the Skrull Empire!"

The High Priest's face turned cold, but just an inch away from Wang Yan, he found himself unable to move further. The High Priest turned to see a shocking sight: his lightning-infused body had been cut by the sword.

"Impossible!"

The High Priest was in disbelief. At any other time, being slashed wouldn't faze him, but now, while channeling his lightning power, it was unthinkable. He couldn't comprehend how he could be killed so quickly, especially when his body was supposed to be an energy form, impervious to ordinary attacks.

The other Skrulls were equally stunned. However, for Wang Yan, this outcome was natural. As someone who had reached the level of a Skyfather, the High Priest's seemingly impressive power was filled with flaws and instability.

Wang Yan's sword vanished, and two lightning orbs appeared in his hands. He hurled them, unleashing chaos and lightning.

Boom! Boom!

The Skrull fleet disintegrated instantly, their powerful ships breaking apart as the destructive energy spread. Amidst the debris, Wang Yan finally saw the Skrull homeworld. A powerful force locked onto him—clearly, the Skrull deity had noticed him.

"The Skrull deity must have sensed me by now!"

"A being called a god won't be simple."

Wang Yan mused, appreciating that this deity commanded the loyalty of the Skrulls and had enabled their significant abilities. This deity's strength must be considerable.

However, Wang Yan, having faced many powerful beings, wasn't intimidated. He approached the planet, locating the Skrulls' sacred city and their deity's residence. This city, revered by the Skrulls, was filled with advanced technology, surpassing any earthly city.

There were high-tech devices, skyscrapers, and flying vehicles, all embodying futuristic technology everywhere. Wang Yan didn't hesitate and headed straight for the largest building in the city center, a structure that stood out with its unique, advanced design.

Surprisingly, despite his intrusion, no one stopped him, contrasting with the earlier attempts to thwart him. Wang Yan continued undeterred, entering the grand building where he found two massive thrones with two Skrulls seated upon them. These Skrulls were giants, at least three meters tall, exuding a dense, eerie aura.

"You've arrived. We've been waiting for you, Earth mage," one of the male Skrulls spoke.

"Are you the Skrull deity?" Wang Yan asked.

"Yes, you may call me that," the Skrull replied. "I am the great Klebren, the only god of the Skrulls."

"Then if I kill you, this ends," Wang Yan said.

"If you do kill me, it will indeed end for you, but do you think you can kill me that easily?" Klebren mocked. "This is not a place where you can run wild. You can't comprehend the power of a god!"

Klebren's arrogance was evident, viewing Wang Yan as a mere insect. Wang Yan chuckled, "To me, so-called gods are just stronger beings."

Having defeated Ego, Wang Yan considered these gods merely powerful entities, often modified beings. Even the Celestials were created by the First Firmament. This "god" was a stronger Skrull, likely enhanced by the Celestials.

"I see you have some inexplicable courage, Earthling," Klebren sneered. "Do you think defeating my fleet means you're powerful? You don't know true power, mistaking ignorance for strength!"

"Oh? And what is true power?" Wang Yan inquired. "Is it the Skrull ability to transform?"

Klebren laughed. "No! It is the power of evolution! The most fundamental, primal force of life. Haven't you felt the greatness of evolution?"

The Cosmic Cube allowed for evolution, changing users' powers to match their desires. Klebren's desire was evolution, and with the Cube's power, Wang Yan had become a fish on the chopping block, unaware of his predicament. Klebren looked at Wang Yan like a dead man.

"Evolutionary power?" Wang Yan felt something strange. Focusing on his mind, he sensed a subtle force in the room, gradually altering his body. However, for Wang Yan, this force was too weak, likely taking years to affect him. He dismissed it.

"Is this weak force what you call evolutionary power?" Wang Yan asked, disappointed.

"Weak? You don't understand greatness! Feel evolution!" Klebren's face twisted with enthusiasm as he unleashed the Cube's power. The room filled with an intense evolutionary force, even affecting the female Skrull beside him, but Wang Yan remained unchanged, as if unaffected.

"How can you not be affected?" Klebren was incredulous.

"Affected? By what?" Wang Yan replied, puzzled.
