In the Quinlan Family villa at the Rose Garden.
Jeff Quinlan had just gotten home when he received a phone call from Aunt Cagwin, and with irritation, he yanked off his tie and handed it to Emilia Sullivan, who was holding his clothes. He said, "Wait a second, Aunt Cagwin is calling me."
Emilia Sullivan asked in surprise, "Why is she calling you?"
"I don't know."
The arrogance and haughtiness of the Quinlan family seemed to be etched into their bones, and Emilia Sullivan immediately frowned, saying somewhat unwillingly, "She'd better not be asking to borrow money. I've heard her family's having a tough time, her husband got a weird disease and has been in the hospital for over a year without getting better..."
By blood, Aunt Cagwin was related to his domineering mother-in-law. Aunt Cagwin's mother and his mother-in-law were cousins, and later, one married a local small businessman while the other married a poor guy.
