Chapter 498: An Old Man Got His Eye Pecked by an Eagle_1

Ivy Wilmar's slender lips were tightly pursed, her well-proportioned face showing little emotion; with a stern face, she wore a beige turtleneck sweater today, her shoulders draped with a fox fur shawl that highlighted her refined and distinguished presence.

She glared at the girl sitting in the interrogation room, frowning deeply, and said coldly, "I don't deserve this 'Mrs. Wilmar' from you."

"I came here to ask you one question, and I want the truth from you. Did you hit Jecksen Wilmar?"

She had gone to the hospital to see her younger brother right after getting off the airplane. Jecksen Wilmar was lying on the hospital bed, awake and in constant pain.

The painkillers the doctor gave him were ineffective. He had three broken ribs, and he wouldn't be able to do anything but lie in bed until they healed.

Not to mention Jecksen Wilmar's face—it was swollen like a pig's head and impossible to look at!
