Also, there is more of a stat involved part of the system that has been introduced in the later chapters(63). Experience isn't visibly tracked until this point - up until then it is still gathered and slayers do grow slightly stronger from fights, but there's no way of knowing how much has been gained until the chapter it's introduced.]

God Slayer: The Tale of Humanity's Last Stand

Following Iris's defeat of Steve, they found Calvin's twisted and snapped corpse left out to rot. After going through some self healing, Lucius scooped up his body and they all headed back to Melidon City. Lucius made sure that Calvin was properly cremated and a small ceremony at the HQ held in his honor.

In their absence, Gray had been smoothing things over with the city following the incident at the arena. The populous's faith in the contracted slayers had been shaken by Axel and Iris's display, but Gray had assured them that they were also just contracted slayers going through an initiation. With his charisma and natural public speaking ability they ate up his every word.

Axel and Iris decided since the archangel was now gone it was time for them to hit the road once more. Before that though, they both made the smart choice of grabbing some new outfits as theirs had been worn and tattered by their recent adventures.
