War's Left Hand, Part 3

When it came to divine weapons, most people who wielded them kept them out at all times. Such as angels, demons, slayers, archangels, etc. However this wasn't the case when you got higher up the food chain. 

Divine weapons actually had a class system of their own but it was based on a star system vs. a letter one - it went from 1-3 stars; 4-5 stars were God tier weapons that could only be wielded by them. Slayers usually started with 1-2 star weapons as their divine energy built throughout time. 

When you get to the higher tier weapons, they are too much of an energy drain to use for every battle - so it's rare that they carry it on their person at all times. Seeing as they are already capable without the weapon, they only call upon it when needed.

Fydos's weapon was one such thing; Lazarus, Breaker of the Night was a 3 star weapon that could easily be mistaken for a 4 based on how Fydos used it.
