Also, there is more of a stat involved part of the system that has been introduced in the later chapters(63). Experience isn't visibly tracked until this point - up until then it is still gathered and slayers do grow slightly stronger from fights, but there's no way of knowing how much has been gained until the chapter it's introduced.]

This is perfect, Jun thought as he squared up against Fydos. While Jayden is preparing his attack, I can go for the String of Fate! If it's still within the cooldown, at least we still have Jayden in the wing with this move of his.

"Consider your two minutes granted." Jun said confidently.

"Thanks." Jayden replied as he transformed his bow to its second release. "I'll try not to let you get killed out there."

Jun decided not to follow up since that had been the nicest thing out of his mouth so far. He closed the distance to Fydos before coming to a halt - his sword was held out between them. Jun glanced down at Ryo who was still on the ground recovering.

That burns through so much of his divine energy, Jun thought. I'm glad he didn't suffer like last time, but I'm not sure how much help Ryo will be right now.

"You with the sword." Fydos spoke.

Jun turned his attention back to Fydos. "My name, is Jun."
