Is A Librarian Supposed To Be That Powerful?

Azure then stopped chuckling and decided that he should explore the forest more, since according to his map, he hasn't even explored onr precent of the forest and he already walked a few kilometers while trying to find the tutorial NPC, which in the end was him needing to complete a few quests to get used to the game.

He then opened the map function and checked it to see if there where any changes that occurred while he was walking around the forest. Azure then noticed that his map showed a bit more then it showed him before he started the tutorial, he also saw the NPC's locations which made it so that he could go to them and ask them for things or try to trigger a quest from them.

'Since it's like this, then maybe I can ask the NPCs for directions to places that might be able to help me progress in the game easily, or at least in the starting phases of the game.'

And with that being said, Azure then once again started exploring the spirit forest and talked with the NPC's there to try and gain more information about the spirit forest and places that can help him progress. While doing that he also started to notice that every NPC was unique which made them feel as if they were real... Azure then dismissed the thought, but the feeling of enjoying interacting with them still stayed and made Azure feel more at home then he usually is due to their kindness, which made him enjoy the game even more then he expected he would.

Azure then noticed a man that with brown hair and green eyes that looked like leaves. "I should ask that guy for some help." Azure thought as he started approaching the man.

"Excuse me sir, but would you happen to know where I can find things that might help me fight the monsters in this forest?" Azure asked one of the NPC's. "Oh looking for a weapon I see? Well if you want to obtain a weapon then I would recommend going to library to gain more knowledge about weapons and then head to the smithy to request for them to make a weapon for you" answered the NPC. "is that so? Then if it doesn't trouble you much, then may I ask you for directions to the library?" asked Azure, since he didn't know where the library is then this would obviously be the best way to find it instead of running around the place and hoping to find it on his way.

"Why of course I can help you, but if I do then is it alright if you help me find a book when we arrive there?" asked the NPC. "Of course after all, it's only natural for us to help each other is it not?" Replied Azure with a smile on his face. "Thank you, Also if you ever need any more directions then you can ask me, since after all, I do know my way around this forest that we call home." Said the man while doing a small dramatic bow.

Seeing this Azure couldn't help but start laughing, he didn't expect something like this to happen, just like he didn't expect anything good from the game before he entered it.

"I know I know, I'm the best at making people laugh am I not?" said the man in an even more dramatic way, this caused to Azure laugh even harder than he previously did causing him to start crying from laughter.

When Azure finally stopped laughing, he wiped his tears (tears of laughter) away and composed himself and started speaking "Wow well, thanks for the good laugh dude, didn't laugh like that in a while" Said Azure while trying to not burst out laughing again.

"Your welcome, by the way, what's your name? Mine's Oliver" Oliver introduced himself and spread his hand out for a handshake.

"I'm LimeTheSlime, but you can just call me Lime since it's shorter. Nice to meet you, Oliver" Azure said a he spread his hand out to shake Olivers hand. They then shaked hands and gave a small bow to each other out of respect for the other.

"Alright then, Lime, now then lets get going before it closes." Said Oliver as he started walking towards the library with Azure following him.

After walking for a few minutes they successfully reached their destination, the library. The moment they went inside Azure felt as if a being much stronger than him was right behind him, causing Azure to turn around immediately and get in a fighting stance as fast as he possibly could.

"Wow, relax dude that's just Sol's test for whenever someone new enters, so don't worry he isn't going to kill you or anything like that." Said Oliver in an attempt to get Azure to calm down.

'That was a test?!? It felt like a LOT more than just a test.' Azure thought to himself while trying to calm down from the intense pressure that was being released by the being called Sol.

A few minutes later, Azure managed to calm himself and regain his composure.

"Oliver, how many times have I told you to call me by my name and not by a nickname that you thought would fit me?" Said "Sol" with a bit of anger in his voice.

Azure then turned his head towards the voice, he then saw a tall man with long white hair that was as white as snow and sharp blue eyes that looked a bit like ice due to his appearance which made it him feel like he was from a cold place filled with ice and snow, despite that, he looked like he was around 20 or something like that.

"Sorry, but it really does fit you, plus it sounds better than Solomon you know? Solomon just sounds old, so I gave you a nickname that sounded more like a newer version of it." replied Oliver to Solomons words in a teasing tone while pointing finger guns at Solomon.

"Anyways, Lime meet Sol, Sol meet Lime." Oliver introduced them to each other.

"Nice to meet you sir!" said Azure while bowing with his upper body.

"Oh, at least your friend here knows some manners unlike you." said Solomon while smirking at Oliver.

"And it's a pleasure to meet you as well. May I ask what your real name is? Since knowing Oliver than Lime is just a nickname is it not?" Solomon said as he turned his head back to Azure.

Azure then stopped bowing and straightened his body before speaking "Yes, I'm LimeTheSlime, but Lime is shorter so you can just call me that instead" Azure replied as he tried to sound as calm as he possibly can.

"Welp, now that you two met each other I was hoping that you might help us find a book about weapons so that Lime could find one that he wants to use. Can you help with that?" Oliver asked while turning his gaze to look back at Solomon.

"If that is all you need than you could have just taken him to the training grounds. After all this is a library and it would be much easier for him to find out what weapon he wants to use there since he can actually try them out there." Solomon replied as he turned his head to Oliver and looked at him as if it was supposed to be obvious. "But I do suppose that this much makes sense if it's you that were talking about" Solomon said while looking at Oliver with a bit of disappointment (fake disappointment) on his face.

"Hey what's that supposed to mean?!?" Oliver said as his facial expression became filled with rage (towards a friend).

The two then started to argue while Azure was just left to watch the argument unfold in front of him.

A few minutes later, one of the walls suddenly broke revealing a giant blue wolf that was at least two meters tall. Seeing this, Azure immediately jumped back and prepared to run out of the place as fast as he possibly can.

"Again? Isn't this like the seventh this month?" Oliver asked as if this was a normal occurrence that happened daily.

"I guess it is. it has been happening a lot more often since a few weeks ago." Solomon answered as he waved his hand at the monster. This caused the giant wolf to immediately lose it head. Azure then turned his gaze to Solomon and looked at him in confusion.

'Are all librarians supposed to be this strong?!?'
