moving

Between the story telling, we were also making plans to go back to London. Jay's oldest sister lived there with her husband. It was a large London house, plenty of room for all of us.

"And Tiana?"

"We ought to leave something for Rachel, right."

"She can come too."

"I don't think she'd want to. I'm not sure she'd be too comfortable with lots of people living in one house. Besides, she's made a life for herself here."

Tiana sighed. I left before she could talk about this more.

Despite not coming to live with us at Jay's sister's house, Tiana did join us for the car journey there. The car was a seven seater so there was plenty of room for all of us. Me and her were in the two middle seats, Steev was driving and the others were in the back. I'm actually quite glad she did because it made the long journey quite a bit more enjoyable.

"Well I don't want to sit and do nothing for the whole journey. That's boring."

I looked back at the others. "How about we play a game."

"What kind of game?"

Tiana looked back too. "We could play eye spy."

"Boring."

"Everythings boring according to you."

We all laughed.

"Shall we just listen to some music then."

After that we spent most of the journey listening and singing along to the radio, until we got to the house.

Jay's sister came out to meet us. I found myself wondering why two people needed such a big house. When I asked about it, she hesitated and looked towards her husband.

We actually decided to move here when we heard…"

"Heard what?" I asked, cockong my head to one side.

"We're going to have a baby."

"Oh." I said, then smiled as realisation fully dawned on me. "Oooohh."
