I spent another week there, with Jay and the others. It's been a little more fun, with all my friends to play with. If I'm honest, I am getting a little jealous of Jay having someone to call 'dad'. I wasn't the only one. Even Tiana got a little irritated.

"If Jay's dad's son, that means I'm not his daughter. So where do I belong?"

"'Where do you belong?' I've been asking that same question for most of my life."

She rested her cheek on her fist. "Yeah, but the difference is, you knew it wasn't here. I always believed it was."

I was walking away by this point.

"Don't you see. We're the same. I really am your sister."

At that word I turned and looked my 'sister' in the face. "Look. I know nothing about your family and neither do you. But I do know more about my family and I'm pretty sure you weren't a part of it."

"I might be able to help a little with that." Racheal had just come out of her room. "Tiana was given to me by an old friend. Someone who couldn't keep her."

"Who." Tiana asked.

Racheal sighed. "I'm afraid there's only so much I can tell you but I can tell you this. This friend was not from this planet. They visited here once when we were both children but we hadn't spoken in years when she contacted me about you. And it was two years before Cynthia came to us. She could well be your older sister."

I glared at Tiana. "She's not my sister. She's too human." and with that I went to my room and slammed the door.

A month passed and true to his word, Steev told us about our planet and his family.

"My family and yours were very close." he said to me once. "I went to the same school as you parents. Though I was older than both of them and I was their prince, they treated me much differently from anyone else. I always like that. Very well respected people, your parents. It was shortly before n—your father went off to S.P that I married and started a family." he looked at Jay now. "You were our fifth born, the second son and the youngest. Two years after you were born, war broke out. Invaders came, an enemy we only know as 'the empire'. Your father was one of the warriors who tried to fight them off." he nodded towards me. "As was your mothers sister. But as our resources were diminished, theirs were infinitely replenished. We never really stood a chance. When we were certain it was over, I took who I could and we hid in a secret cave behind the castle. When the time was right, we emerged and started to plan where to go from there. Your mother and her sister had already been here once, so."

"What about my mother?" Jay asked.

Steev sighed. "She died. I saw her killed. And you, I just lost…I don't know what happened to you."

"So… how did I end up here?"

"I have no idea. But I'm guessing it must have been something she'd done. Don't you remember anything?"

Jay shook his head. "I mean, I was fast asleep."

Steev nodded. "Right."
