Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

It was quite a while later before Kurai managed to wake up once more, though this time he found himself practically buried beneath a mountain of blankets.

Deep breathing could be heard from one side of the cave and he slowly opened his eyes and looked around to try and determine how late, or early, it was.

He slowly sat up, testing whether all of his wounds had healed properly, before he tried to make out the details in the rest of the cave, only to pale as he spotted no less than twenty of the creatures sleeping on the one side of the cave.

At first, he thought they were sleeping on the floor, but then he realized that someone had laid down a bed of straw for them to sleep on.

He slowly moved out of the bed, taking great care to keep an eye on the ones closest to him.
