Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

Hozumi sat near the fire, and although she looked alert and ready as she leaned against her sword, her mind was anything but that.

Something had been bothering her ever since Kurai left to hunt and she had been able to gather a few edible berries for the group to eat as a distraction, but now that everyone had fallen asleep, the feeling returned full-force.

The woman named Gina was still unconscious, though instinct told Hozumi that she wasn't a threat anymore, yet the man whose life Kurai saved…was a different story entirely.

At first glance, he merely seemed like a normal individual, but then Marcus explained how the three men had agreed to accompany them on their trip without asking for anything in return and Hozumi decided to take a closer look at things under the pretense of checking up on the man.
