Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

Their arrival back in the city was met with a scurry of activity as everyone in the city seemed to be in a rush to get somewhere and to do something.

At first, Kurai thought that there was going to be a festival as he saw quite a few new stalls being set up along the streets, but then he took the time to listen to what the merchants were shouting, and he paused in shock before turning to Liam, "All this commotion just because the dungeon has been cleared?"

Liam shrugged, "It seems like it. We won't know until we ask someone though."

Kurai nodded and continued walking, missing the weight of Nila on his shoulder, but the kit had told him that it needed to return to the Plains for a few days so he let her go, knowing well enough that he would be able to monitor her if need be, "We can do that back at the guild. The faster we get there, the less of a chance there is that they might try and keep us there indefinitely."
