Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

The meeting didn't last much longer but by the end of it, Kurai had an idea of what he could do to show that he wasn't as helpless as he may seem. Sure he lacked Abyss' intimidating looks, but he still had access to the darker side of Seraph's Blessing, which seemed to be able to eat through anything, and he still hadn't used the second ability he'd gained from Abyss yet, even though the ability made his skin crawl whenever he used it.

The king said something, but Kurai didn't pay much attention and he followed along with the group until he felt a nudge to his side.

He glanced up, and couldn't stop the grin from crossing his face as he recognized Brian, but his eyes widened in surprise when he noticed that Rin and Lee were both flanking the larger man as well and he greeted them before his eyes narrowed in suspicion and he turned his attention back to the taller man, "You're a part of it too?"
