Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

Talking Chrome down from her irritation was a lot easier than Kurai imagined it to be, given that he'd only spoken the truth.

By the end of it, however, Chrome demanded to see the King of the Abyss, hoping that they could do business, and Kurai watched with wide eyes as Abyss managed to charm the tech-fae down from her rage before she even gave him a permanent 30% discount, which had many of the onlookers almost falling on their backs.

The tech-fae didn't really do discounts unless they really liked someone, or unless they sensed that there were larger deals to come.

Before Chrome left, however, she gazed at Kurai intensely before scuffing one of her feet on the ground and holding an object out to him, "This may be able to help you in your quest."
