Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

Kurai didn't know what to think as the world around them and everyone in it froze.

Even the boss seemed to be frozen in time and Kurai took a hesitant step toward it before lightly touching the bloodied claws that the boss had fully intended to skewer them with after the shield had broken under its onslaught.

He heard footsteps behind him and turned, noticing that the wings had disappeared and his eyes widened as he noticed that both Abyss and Kura were in their true forms and that they were watching him.

Instead of Kura looking like him, however, he was almost as tall as Abyss, with long silver hair and white eyes.

For a moment Kurai thought he was blind, but Kura was looking at him directly with a very guilty expression on his face.

Kurai's eyes narrowed, "You're not really the younger version of me, are you?"

Kura hesitated a moment before he shook his head, "I am not."
