Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

It wasn't long before the being started using small tricks to try and shake Kurai off.

From weaving in between the trees to taking the chase up into the sky, the snake-person, seemed to have quite a few up their sleeves, but then again, so did Kurai.

Another leap had him diving through the tree canopy, only to find that it had been a trick and he frantically looked around, only to find the being jumping alongside him before twisting and rolling their body so that they wouldn't get hurt upon landing.

Kurai knew that he wasn't even going to try to copy them, so instead he used 'Cyberblink to propel him forward mid-air until he landed on one of the branches of the trees below while his heart raced.

Snake-like laughter sounded out from next to him and he turned to find the being on a branch next to his, "You aren't as helpless as you seem…"
