Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

Although he wanted to go back and see whether any of the others had made it through the barrier yet, he ended up staying two days to settle in and to learn about the culture in the area first.

The guide, whose name was Nasizume, and nicknamed Nasi, turned out to be very talkative and she told him a lot about their city and how it came to be, which basically boiled down to them losing their home and roaming around until they found this place, though it's only been in recent years apparently that the taint had occurred and it has cost them a lot to survive in an environment that became harsher by the day.

In turn, Kurai spoke a little about the city and villages on the other side, though he was a little surprised when Nasi suddenly started asking about their soldiers before his eyes narrowed slightly in suspicion.
