Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

When Kurai woke up the next morning, the weather seemed to be perfect and he felt no lingering pains from the previous day.

A part of him wondered where they had put the spider, but he was sure that Lilith would have taken it with her, that is until he sat up and found it still sitting in a jar on his bedside table; still watching him with its beady little eyes.

A shiver went through him before he tore his gaze away, but then something occurred to him and he grabbed the jar to see whether it could be placed inside his inventory, which, surprisingly enough, was possible.

He decided to hold onto it for now as he stood and spotted a door leading to the bathroom in one corner of the hut and he decided to grab a shower before heading out.

Seeing as there was only one fight left, he knew that they would probably decide to host it in the middle of the day or even in the afternoon once they learned that he had recovered.
