Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

The king must have expected it because he also used an ability to increase his movement and the entire area seemed to come to a standstill as they fought.

He could vaguely hear Abyss and Aether making amusing comments in his mind as he fought, but he didn't pay much attention to it as he tried to increase his speed even more, only to have the samurai keep up as though he was slowly raising his own speed as well.

Finally, something seemed to break and he instinctively used Aether's energy to cover himself, causing a white light to envelop him and he quickly closed his eyes to shield them against the light.

When the light seemed to fade, he slowly opened his eyes, only to find himself standing in the ring alone with the crowd murmuring in confusion.
