Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

Kurai didn't really understand why Abyss kicked up such a fight when he heard Hozumi's words since the being had been with him since the start and that meant that he was there when Kurai gained the abilities from Hozumi.

He looked at her as something occurred to him, "Hey, you know when you gave me the ability to heal with Seraph's Blessing?"

She nodded, though she was clearly quite confused by where he was going with that question and Kurai wondered why none of them had thought about this before, "When you transferred the skill to me, did you plan on giving me the rest of the skills as well?"

Hozumi's eyes widened as she realized the direction that Kurai's thoughts had gone and she shook her head, "I didn't. In fact, I only gave you Seraph's Blessing. I was just as surprised as you were when the other abilities manifested but I didn't think to mention it since you seemed to simply go with it all."
