Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

Kurai didn't know why, but he suddenly had a very bad feeling about letting the others from the guild complete the next level and he also realized that Rome still hadn't explained what Zane had meant by 'Ruler'.

He couldn't do much about the first feeling, but Beelzebub had already been released from Rome so he was sure that the rest of their conversation wouldn't hold any other unexpected surprises; he was wrong.

He turned to Rome and it seemed as if the man had been waiting for him to do just that because he stepped forward with a grimy and crusty-looking sword in his hand.

Even though Kurai was sure that no one in their right mind would touch a sword that had clearly been greatly neglected and which might even have given tetanus to quite a few who dared to hold it, something in Rome's demeanor told him that he couldn't refuse the sword so he stretched out his hand, only for a blinding light to appear the moment his hand made contact with the steel.
