Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

His first instinct was to run to her to try and determine whether she was alright, even though she didn't look like herself anymore, but then she let out a warcry just before a blur of white wings collided with her form and Kurai froze as his mind finally caught up to the fact that there were two Hozumis and the one he'd seen was clearly an impostor.

Taking a look around the battlefield once more, Kurai finally noticed that everyone seemed to be fighting a different version of themselves…ones that clearly had no morals when it came to fighting as they were using underhanded tactics to fight their opposites.

A quick glance around allowed him to spot a being that looked quite out of place as it hovered in the air above the battle since it didn't move or even seem to have any interest in anything other than looking at the sky.
