Overload

Olivia sighs deeply as she levitates into the sky and flies back into the city casting a spell to reverse the damage caused by their fight.

As she begins to fly away, she starts to hear some cheering and applause above her as some of the civilians cheer her on.

The people of this city are very grateful to her, and she can hear the cheers of her name as she flies away.

Olivia smiles with glee and pride at everything that she has done today. Eventually, she teleports back to Asgard where Loki awaits.

When she teleports back to Asgard a moment later, she sees Loki sitting on the throne, talking with Heindall.

He notices her arrival and jumps up, excitement in his eyes.

"Well?" He asks.

"How did everything go?"

"It went…"

Before she could finish the sentence her body collapsed onto the ground. She groans as she lays there unable to move.

Loki looks concerned as he sees her collapse to the floor.

"What happened?" He asks, rushing over to her.

"Are you alright?"

She tries to look at him and speak but passes out, unable to function.

As she passes out, a sense of panic begins to set in. He calls for help as a bunch of other Asgardians and servants of Asgard begin to gather around.

A few are casting spells to try and get Olivia back to normal as Loki walks over to her and looks down at her.

He puts his hand on her forehead, looking down very concerned.

"What happened? What happened at the meeting?"

He seems genuinely worried about Olivia as he calls for more help and looks at her as the servants of Asgard begin to run around, confused and panicked.

Olivia continues to lay there motionless as her mind is racing millions of miles an hour. She feels exhaustion overtake her body as her eyes close.

The Asgardians rush her off to a healing chamber where she is immediately put on a magic healing bed. Her body slowly starts to regenerate the magical energy she used while sparing with Wanda.

Loki sits by Olivia's side, holding her hand to comfort her. His mind seems to be racing to make sense of it all, he seems quite confused and worried...and now frustrated.

"What happened when you got to Wanda's house?" He asks, trying to get to the root of the problem.

After a few hours passed, Olivia manages to open her eyes and blink. She slowly turns her head to face him.

"Loki…" She says with a dry tired voice.

A great smile passes across his face when she opens her eyes.

"You're okay! Thank the gods." He says with much relief and much joy in his voice.

He sits there for a minute with a look of joy before he seems to realize just how exhausted she seems to be right now. He lets her hand go.

"Just rest, okay?" He says with a smile.

She can feel his happiness as he seems to still be very concerned about her.

Olivia smiles slightly before turning her head back and closing her eyes, resting.

Loki sits there watching over her for a bit. He seems to know that she'll be okay.

A moment later, he seems to remember why he's here and he turns to Heindall, who had been standing there watching carefully over Olivia the whole time.

"How long does it usually take for a god to recover from doing a healing of this magnitude?" He asks Heindall.

"Depending on the level of spells used and energy exerted from each one it usually takes 2 to 3 hours for a normal god to recover... But based on her condition..."

"…It may be a week before she's back on her feet."

"A full week!?"

"Do we know why?" He asks with concern in his voice as he turns to Heindall.

"She must have used very powerful spells that expelled all of her energy." Heindall says with his arms crossed.

Loki nods. His eyebrows seem to be furrowed in worry. A look of concern falls down his face.

"Well…" He says with a sigh.

"What can we do to help her in the meantime?"

"What do you think she needs to get back to feeling like herself again?"

Heindall ponders the question before answering.

"You... She needs you now more than ever. Being surrounded by loved ones usually boosts speed in recovery."

Loki's eyes light up. A big smile spreads across his face as he turns to Heindall.

"That's it!" He says as his mood instantly lifts.

"Heindall, you're a genius!" He exclaims with a chuckle.

"We will summon her closest ones here and we'll make sure she gets her energy back in no time!" He says with a grin.

Loki turns back to Olivia with a smile.

"How does that sound to you? You okay to have some company right now?" He asks with his usual devilish grin.

Olivia groans as her eyes flutter and slowly moves her head side to side signaling the word "no".

Loki's face falls slightly at the "no" and then he sighs heavily.

"Do you need more rest?" He asks.

"It's okay to take it easy if you need it." He says with a bit of a concerned look on his face.

"Would you prefer to stay here and rest without visitors until you're feeling better? Or would you rather have some company?" He asks, trying to see if there's anything he can do to make her feel better or more comfortable.

She parts her lips slightly before speaking.

"No....visitors..." She says slowly.

Loki's face falls again and he nods.

"Alright." He says with a sigh, disappointment evident in his voice, but also trying to be sympathetic and understanding.

"I'll make sure no one comes to bother you." He says, trying to offer some comfort.

"Would you like me to stay then, perhaps? Or would you rather be alone?" He asks, sounding genuinely worried for her.

She opens her eyes slightly to look at him.

"Please...Stay..."

Loki smiles gently at her.

"Of course." He says with a comforting smile on his face.

"I'll stay as long as you need me to."

"You just rest here and relax. I'll be here the whole time if you need anything at all. I'll take care of everything."

Olivia hums before closing her eyes again to rest. Loki sits there with her, watching over her closely the whole time. His hand gently strokes her forehead comforting her after the ordeal she has been through.

She can feel his presence, his hand is reassuring to her, giving her comfort and peace. He doesn't say anything as she rests, waiting for her condition to get better.

"Just rest…" He whispers to her.

"You're going to be okay; I promise you."
