The End

ARWAN

I let out a sigh as I sit up on my hospital bed. I've been here for a few days now, and being stuck between these four walls is torture. I didn't think I'd have this much trouble, but I suppose I'm far too used to training early in the morning and moving around in general. Over there, I can barely stand up because my leg still hurts. That's why I'm still there; they want to ensure everything's fine, no matter how much I tell them it's perfectly fine. I don't blame my mother for wanting to be careful.

After what happened, I can't blame her.

"Okay," Jared continues, "so all you have to do is match the suits or the numbers on the cards. If you can't play a card, you pick one from the deck. Got it?" he finishes explaining the rules of the card game while I nod absent-mindedly.
