"What I'm saying is…" Elke paused, gathering her thoughts before addressing Henrie, her eyes searching for a glimpse of his emotions. "I'm not telling you to spare her life, but perhaps we should consider a more discreet form of punishment."

The notion of executing a member of the royal family would inevitably attract attention, fueling rumors and undermining the kingdom's stability.

Elke continued, "Sending her into exile could be a solution. It would buy us time, and you could always have her dealt with quietly later. The key is to minimize the public spectacle. If she happens to meet her end in exile, no one would question you or the crown."

Henrie remained silent, his internal struggle evident. It wasn't confusion that clouded his mind but a battle between his personal vendetta and the kingdom's interests.
