Gnawing Concern

Lady Runa paced around her chamber, deep in thought. She turned to Thea, who had been watching Lady Runa's strange behavior, with an earnest expression.

"Thea, please tell me honestly, is she beautiful? The eldest daughter of Duke Franklin? The one we saw in the courtyard. She wears a fluffy dress with flower patterns. It only fits someone so young like her."

Lady Runa paused and gazed at Thea before resuming her pacing and monologue.

"She probably hasn't even debuted yet. You can't deny that she's beautiful, can you, Thea? Do you think Henrie will fall for her?"

It was clear that Lady Runa was deeply troubled by this prospect, and she searched Thea's face for an answer.

But for Thea, the idea seemed absurd. She believed, just like Prince Henrie, that Lady Runa was the most beautiful woman in all of the Reichwein Kingdom.
