The Parade

They were talking for some time. Duke Franklin put his hand on Henrie's shoulder, and during their exchange, Henrie repeatedly glanced in the direction of the carriage where Yohana was seated, his countenance marked by discomfort.

Throughout the interaction, Lady Celeste remained fixed on Henrie, her gaze filled with profound longing. 

A petite and charming girl from a distant empire, her fair complexion, large expressive eyes, and the doll-like quality of her features made her stand out. 

Lady Celeste never once averted her gaze from Henrie, not even when her father spoke to her or when Queen Emma embraced her shoulders while talking.

After what appeared to be an extended ordeal, Henrie finally managed to peel himself off the group and hastily boarded the carriage. 

"Let's leave now!" he instructed the driver, knocking on the carriage door to signal their departure.
