The King and the Queen

King Georg initially allowed Prince Ansgar to be punished with only exile because his wife convinced him to do so. She told him that this lighter punishment would help her navigate the harsh social life.

He wasn't interested in understanding what she meant because he no longer loved her.

In fact, King Georg wasn't interested in kingdom affairs either. He was content with being a high official in the government, taking care of what he should with what he was good at.

His father was a great man with outstanding strategic acumen. During his lifetime, he had significantly increased the family's wealth. His accomplishments successfully positioned the Siegfried family as one of the most powerful in the Reichwein Kingdom.

However, living with that luxury and under a great man as a father, King Georg, the firstborn son, felt immense pressure and gave up before even trying because of his low self-confidence.
