Princess Assassin

Right after those words escaped Niels' lips, he clasped his mouth, seemingly surprised at his own voice.

"Have you remembered?" Fabian asked.

"No, I, uh... I don't know why I said that," Niels replied. He refused to say another word after that. It was probably the subconscious part of him, who had loved Yohana for a long time, that spoke those words.

Fabian escorted Henrie and Yohana out of the manor, leaving Niels by himself to process the situation.

"While arranging his escape, shouldn't we also find the real Ansgar? If we could present the real Ansgar to King Georg and the public, Niels might be spared because he substituted for Ansgar out of loyalty," Fabian offered.

"You're right. But what if when Ansgar gets caught, Niels won't tell the truth? What if he insists that he's the real prince?" Yohana voiced her worries.
